IN VITRO EFFICACY
Different in vitro studies were performed to test the effect of Nelupure™
on sebum production in sebocytes.
Leptin, CIDEA, PLIN2 and PLIN3 are proteins involved in sebum synthesis and their
gene expression was measured.
In addition, to check the anti-inflammatory effect of Nelupure™, the gene
expression of the cytokine IL-8 was measured too.
