    Assignment 28

    1. The teacher’s role in the student’s success is very important


    because they will help to reveal student's best skills and teach valuable
    life skills as well, such as communication, compassion, presentation,
    organization, following directions, and more. They are also a source of
    inspiration and motivation. Most importantly, teachers help shape a
    child’s personality for him to become a better person that will make him
    an asset to a nation. Thus, teachers do not only equip a child with
    knowledge and skills, but develop him to have a well-rounded personality
    for him to succeed. As can be observe in the real- life situation, not all
    intelligent people succeed in life because attitude is also needed. No
    matter how intelligent a person can be, but if he is not emotionally-
    stable, then success will be far-fetched for him. This is the reason why
    character education is also being taught in school.

    2. The code of ethics is important for teachers working in an


    institution because it serves as their guidance and protection. The code
    of ethics outlines all the teachers’ responsibilities to their students. Aside
    from it, the code of ethics also contains the different sanctions that will
    be applied to a teacher if ever he violates one of the code of ethics. Hence,
    the code of ethics is the teachers’ bible.

    If the code of ethics is that important to the teachers and so is the


    student’s handbook for the students. The primary purpose of the student
    handbook is to provide students with information, guidelines, and
    policies that will enhance their adjustments as part of the community of
    their school. According to George Fox University (2015), "One of the key
    documents that outline the students experience is the Student
    Handbook.
