Materials:
When using the suggested materials, it
will be about 5 cm tall.
The listed wool and hook sizes are only suggestions. It is, of course, entirely your
personal choice, which yarn you use.
Please keep in mind that different yarn may result in a bigger or smaller piece. Make
sure to adapt your hook size according to your yarn and personal tension.
• Some wool 😁 (Sport Weight), e. g. Schachenmayr Catania/Scheepjes Catona
• Crochet hook in suitable size (for me: NS 1.75 mm)
• Eyes (for me: 5 mm)

Abbreviations (US Terms):


MR = magic ring inc = increase

sc = single crochet dec = decrease

slst = slip stitch BLO = back loop only

ch = chain FLO = front loop only


st = stitch

(-) x = repeat inside of () for x nr of times

1. sc 6 in MR (6)
2. inc x6 (12)
3. sc in each st around (12)
4. sc 6, inc x6 (18)
5. sc 6, (sc 1, inc) x6 (24)
6.-7. (2 Rounds) sc in each st around (24)
8. (sc 2, dec) x6 (18)
9. (sc 1, dec) x6 (12)
Stuff the head.
10. dec x6 (6)
Fasten off invisibly.
Embroider the face, attach or embroider the eyes.

Ear (make 2):


Crochet in rows. At the end of each row, chain 1 and turn.
1. ch 2, skip 1, inc, ch 1, turn (2)
2. sc 2, ch 1, turn (2)
3. inc x2, ch 1, turn (4)
4. sc 4, ch 1, turn (4)
5. sc 1, inc x2, sc 1, ch 1, turn (6)
6. sc 6
Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.
First pin the ears to the head and sew them on.

Body:
1. sc 6 in MR (6)
2. inc x6 (12)
3. (sc 1, inc) x6 (18)
4.-5. (2 Rounds) sc in each st around (18)
6. (sc 1, dec) x6 (12)
7.-8. (2 Rounds) sc in each st around (12)

Fasten off, do not close, leave a long tail for sewing.
Stuff and shape the body.

Back paw (make 2):

Fasten off, do not stuff, leave a long tail for sewing.

Front paw (make 2):


1. sc 6 in MR (6)

Fasten off, do not stuff, leave a long tail for sewing.

Tail:
1. ch 3, join round with slst, sc 1, inc x2 (5)
2.-4. (3 Rounds) sc in each st around (5)

Pin all pieces together until it looks good for you, sew them together. You can
embroider toes to the paws with thin black or dark brown thread.

Your little Chihuahua is a wonderful accessory for most of my dolls :o)
