Materials:
 Crochet hook size 2.0mm for the body, 2.2mm for the hair and dress
 Yarn: 2mm cotton yarn

 Body: Susan 07 or baby Cotton 03/ Yarn Art Jeans 73
 Shoes and Dress: GAzzal Baby Cotton 3448
 Hair: Baby yarn 11
 Pompom: White
 8mm plastic eyes; 0.5mm button for the dress
 Black thread to embroider the eyebrows and eyelashes
 Sewing needle, some pins, scissors, fabric glue/hot glue gun
 Fiberfill for stuffing
 Soft wires and 5 cm plastic straw to insert into the neck and make the
head straight
 Finished product is 15 cm tall

Abbreviations:
Rnd1: round 1 inc: crochet 2 single stitches in the same stitch
st/sts: Stitch/Stitches inc4: crochet 4 single crochet in the same stitch
sc: single crochet hdc inc: crochet 2 half double crochet in the same
hdc: half double stitch
crochet dc inc: crochet 2 double crochet in the same stitch
dc: double crochet hs1: hair strand 1
trb: treble crochet FLO: crochet through front loops only
slst: slip stitch BLO: back loop only
dec: invisible decrease by crocheting 2 sts together
through front loops only
Notes:
 This pattern is using US crochet terminology. Work in spiral rounds, do
not slip stitch unless stated. Crochet with tight stitches to make the doll
look nice and neat.
 For the doll body, I do yarn under to make x stitch, the stitches will be
neat and nice when stuffing.
 For the hair and dress, I do yarn over to make v stitch, it looks softer and
beautiful
 Do not stuff too tight.
 You can use any type of yarn with appropriate crochet hook size to create
different sizes using this pattern.

LET’S GET STARTED
EARS (make 2)
Rnd 1: 6sc into the MR (6)
Rnd 2: chain 1 and turn, 6sc (6)
Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing
ARMS (make 2)
Rnd 1: 6 sc in the MR (6)
Rnd 2 - 6: 6sc (6)
Rnd 7: inc, 5 sc (7)
Rnd 8 – 13: 7 sc (7)
Fasten off and cut the yarn
Do not stuff the arms
LEGS (make 2)
Left leg
Using green color to make the shoes first.
Make 5 chain and start on the 2nd chain from the hook. To avoid the hole of the
sole, I crochet into the back bump (behind loop) of the foundation chain
Rnd 1: inc, 2 sc, inc4, 2 sc, inc 12
Rnd 2: 2 inc, 2 sc, 4 inc, 2 sc, 2 inc 20
Rnd 3: BLO 20 sc 20
Rnd 4: dec, 4 sc, 4 dec, 4 sc, dec 14
Change to the skin color. Stuff as long as you go

Rnd 5: BLO 4 sc, 3 dec, 4 sc, 11
Rnd 6-11: 11 sc. Total 6 rounds 11
Rnd 12: 5 sc, inc, 5 sc 12
Rnd 13-18: 12 sc – total 6 rounds
Fasten off.
Stuff the legs because it will be harder to stuff when you crochet longer.
Right leg
Make the same as left leg 1 to the end of round 18
Change to the pink color to make the underwear, crochet 5 single crochet
stitches. The last stitch of round 18 should be in the middle of the inside of the
leg. Chain 2 and join with the left leg at the first stitch of the new round. This
is also the beginning of the round.
In the next round, we join 2 legs together
Rnd 19: Join 2 legs together as follows: 12 sc on the right leg, 28
2 sc on the chain, 12 sc on the left leg, 2 sc on the chain.
Carefully count the number of stitches because stitch no.1
might be a bit tricky to see, you may forget to count this
stitch.
Rnd 20: 6 sc, inc, 13sc, inc, 7sc 30

Make sure that the increases are at the middle of the hips
Rnd 21: 30 sc 30
Rnd 22: (3sc, dec) * 6 times 24
Change to the skin color
Rnd 23: 24 sc 24
Rnd 24: (2 sc, dec) * 6 times 18
Rnd 25 – 28: 18 sc 18
In the next round, we will connect the arms to the body
Rnd 29: 6 sc on the back of body, 7 sc around the arm, 8 sc on 32

the front of body, 7sc around the arm, 4sc on the back of body.
This round has 32 sts: 18 sts from the body and 14 sts from
the two arms.
TIPS: to avoid the opening under the armpit, crochet as
follow: 6sc on the back of the body, 6 sc on the left hand
then one decrease of st n0.7 of the arm and st no.6 of the
back body, then crochet 8 sc on the body front, 6sc on the
right hand then one decrease of st n0.7 of the arm and the
last stitch of body front (st no. 14), 4sc on the body back
Rnd 31: (5sc, dec) * 4 times 24
Rnd 33: (sc, dec) * 6 times 12
Rnd 34-36 (3 rounds): 12 sc 12
Stuff the body. Do not cut the yarn because we continue to crochet the
head.

HEAD
Rnd 1: 12 inc 24
Rnd 2: ( sc, inc) * 12 times 36
Rnd 3: (5 sc, inc) *6 times 42
Rnd 6 - 16: 54 sc 54
Insert the soft wire into the plastic straw and put into the neck to
make the head straight
Tips: Place the plastic straw between the body and the head, 2/3
of the straw in the body and 1/3 in the head. Stuff the body with
fiberfill, do not stuff the neck to avoid the neck being big and
rough
If you use safety eyes, insert the safety eyes between round 9-10
with 6 sts apart.

Stuff firmly, fasten off, cut the yarn and weave in the end

Assembly
FACE:
- Embroider the eyelash on the round 9-11 as picture with 8 stitches apart.
Firstly, embroider 2 eyelashes, attach the eyes with 6 sts apart, then
embroider the third eyelash as picture.
- Embroider the eyebrow on round 12-13 with 3 stitches wide
- Sew the nose between round 7-8 with 2 stitches apart by using skin
color yarn and sewing 3 times, then embroider around 6 times.
- Sew the ears to round 8-11 with 6 stitches apart from the eyes and the
ears
- Use white color yarn to embroider the whites of the eyes.
- Use blush powder/acrylic paint to make up the doll’s cheeks.

Try the wig cap on the head, you may need to add or omit one round to fit. The
wrong side is attached to the head, the right side is facing up.

HS1. Chain 7, start to crochet on the 2nd chain from the hook: 6 sc, hdc, skip
one stitch, slip stitch into the next stitch
HS2: Chain 10, start to crochet on the 2nd chain from the hook: 8 sc, hdc, skip
HS3: Chain 15, start to crochet on the 2nd chain from the hook: 13 sc, hdc,
skip one stitch, slip stitch into the next stitch
HS4: Chain 20, start to crochet on the 2nd chain from the hook: 18 sc, hdc,
skip one stitch, slip stitch into the next stitch
HS5: Chain 10, start to crochet on the 2nd chain from the hook: 8 sc, hdc, skip
BUN (Using yellow color yarn)
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3: (sc, inc) * 6 times (18)

DRESS
Using green color yarn
Rnd 1. Chain 20, start on the 2nd chain from the hook, 19 sc (19). Continue to
crochet the other side of the foundation chain.
Rnd 2: 4 sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, sc, slst, sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc. Chain 6 and slsl into
the first chain to make a buttonhole.
Rnd 3: 19 sc (19). Chain 1 and turn
Rnd 4: 19 sc (10). Chain 1 and turn
Rnd 5-6: repeat round 4. Slst to join the round and turn
Rnd 7 – FLO: Chain 2 (this chain 2 is not counted as a double crochet). Dc, dc
inc * 17 times, dc (36), slip stitch onto the first stitch to make a round. Do not
turn your work.
Rnd 8: chain 2, 36 dc (36)
We will make 6 petals as follows:
*6dc, chain 2 and turn
dc dec, 2 dc, dc dec (4), chain 2 and turn
dc dec x 2 times (2), chain 2 and turn
dc dec (2). Fasten off and weave the end *
Repeat the sequence *….* 5 more times
