Your application for a Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) licence has been
approved and a licence has been granted. Please find enclosed a copy of your licence
certificate. This shows your licence expiry date.
NEW BUSINESS
Your licence is currently classed as a ''new business'' on the GLAA Public Register of
licence holders. This indicates that you have not yet started trading in the GLAA sectors.
GLAA Licensing Standard 1.3 requires ''new business'' licence holders to notify the GLAA
within 20 working days of trading in the regulated sectors. This standard is ''Critical''. If
you do not notify us once you have started trading, your licence may be revoked.
When you notify us that you have started trading, please can you also provide the
following information:

It is also a requirement of the licence that you and your organisation continue to comply
with the GLAA's licensing conditions, the applicable licensing standards and continue to be
classed as "fit and proper" to hold a licence.

specifies those authorised to act as a gangmaster on behalf of this licence holder.
The licence excludes the supply and use of workers for shellfish gathering.
