DIP-switches for range selection

General description
Signal converter 641 is designed to convert standard Output selectable via DIP-switches: voltage 0..±5 V,
process input /output signals. Current inputs 0/4..20 0..±10 V or current 0/4..20 mA.

Potentiometer inputs:
641 can also be used as a position transmitter for
P otentiom eter / Ω R8 / Ω
potentiometers. Standard output ranges are in table 3
and special ranges in table 4. Potentiometer input is 500 750
delivered to ordered potentiometer size, which can be 1 000 1 500
changed later by selecting new range resistor R8. 2 000 3 000
When modifying 641 to potentiometer, cut resistor R3 5 000 7 500
from the PCB-board. Also serial resistor R8 should be 10 000 15 000
added, its size is depending to potentiometer size, see

Select new size for R8 from table 5. If You have other 100 000 150 000
potentiometer than in the table, serial resistor is 1,5 200 000 300 000
