Task 1

Read the text and answer the questions.

Miguel loved Halloween. He loved dressing up as

a ghost, or a skeleton, or a skull with a candle in the
head. But his family didn't like Halloween. And they
didn't like Halloween music.

'Please, Mama, can I go to the Halloween party?'
Miguel asked.

'No, Miguel,' said his mama. 'We don't celebrate
Halloween.'

Miguel was very sad. He went to his room and
closed the door. Then he started to play his guitar and
sing a Halloween song. But suddenly, everything
changed. The room was dark, and there were lots of
candles. And there were skeletons and ghosts and skulls
everywhere! And then... Miguel was a ghost too!
