(tp+Δt)/Δt

From the graph between Pws vs (tp+Δt)/Δt , can find Pi at (tp+Δt)/Δt =1, Pi=
4800 Psi.
Slope of the straight line for one cycle (4800-4100)=700 Psi/cycle.
Calculate the value of k: k=

Calculate the value of S skin factor

First find P1 hr ( from the graph the value of Pi hr from the straight line

ri= 6 in
Calculate the value of productivity index
J= Pi= Qo/(pi-Pwf)=300/(4800 – 3750)= 0.285 (STB/DAY)/Psi

Calculate the value of pressure drop due to skin factor (additional

pressure drop caused by formation damage):
Δp ( due to skin)= 0.87* m*s= 0.87*700*(-3.097532703)
Δp ( due to skin)= -1886.4 PSI due to skin.
