weaponry, and communications packages. The Utility
version is a two-door with a flatbed that can handle
a load of 5,100 pounds. The other three models are
four-door and feature a significant arsenal of weaponry,
including .50-calibre machine guns and TOW missiles.
It also includes a next-generation turret and

of JLTV models can tackle any task, from long-range
reconnaissance and special-forces raids to heavy-

Donald Trump
How, possibly, could we summarise every batshit crazy thing this douche has done since being
sworn in as President of the USA in January 2017. Well, for starters, there’s those links to Russia,
support of white supremacists groups, sexual misconduct accusations, the whole Israel situation

Dodgy Sculptures
Nothing causes controversy like a public erection. Just ask the artist behind the
bust honouring Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in his hometown
Funchal. He was met with worldwide criticism on account of his work being shit
— judge for yourself (below). Closer to home, Adelaide’s Blackfriars Priory School
have been forced to cover a newly unveiled statue of St Dominic, in which he holds
a bread roll at crotch level next to a kneeling boy. Still, you can’t fault their honesty.

Ed Sheeran on GOT
Fans of dragons and multiple boobies
slaughterfest Game Of Thrones hit
social media in fury when ginger

The computers have already started
plotting against us if the global crash
of airport check-in systems is anything
to go by. In September, a “momentary

affected 125 airlines immobilising
airport operations around the world

Michael Phelps vs Shark
In July, as part of what the Discovery
Channel’s marketing team no doubt
would’ve called “engaging content”,
28-time Olympic medallist Michael
Phelps (clad in a wetsuit, plus a
monofin) raced a shark to help
hype ‘Shark Week’. Sounds insane,
right?! Yeah, until it turned out to be
a computer-generated shark, plus
Phelps came in two seconds slower.
Still, it was a battle, but… YAWN.

place to go for water sports.

Taste the Indie Selection
There is no shortage of incredible triple-A games landing on the PS4 every month,
but don’t discount the downloadable indie scene. This is the breeding ground
for experimentation, where developers are free to toy with new ideas without the
pressure of publishers, investors and big budgets. The PS4 has more indies than any
other console, and despite being relatively cheap, the quality is high. Our best from
2017 include What Remains of Edith Finch, Night in the Woods, Thimbleweed
