Profile

TEFL certified educator experienced teaching English all over the developing world. After getting a degree in journalism, I joined the Peace Corps and served in Madagascar. Since completing those two years, I have taught English at a western-style all-womens Liberal Arts university in South Asia, worked as a substitute in the States, and instructed adults at a non-profit English center in Tunisia. I have taught classes with between 1 and 75 pupils with levels from no English to University-ready, using my own lessons, university curriculums, English for business purposes, conversation and tutoring. I have always been an outgoing and successful person, going from winning a math scholarship to a successful collegiate journalism career to being a highly-rated and liked English teacher. I have also coached and refereed basketball on three continents.
