Question.1

Yes, we think that the strategic use and display of emotions serve to protect
employees. We can justify our answer with the aid of following points.

 It helps us to empathize and sympathize


 It helps us to reduce stress whatever we feel, we exhibit it! / (enhance
well-being especially mental.)
 It increases productivity, which ultimately leads to employee
engagement and satisfaction.
 It builds trust which leads to authenticity and ultimately creates a
room for effective communication and a productive work
environment.
 It helps us to avoid conflicts specially communication conflicts.

Question.2

The Laura’s company can do several steps to change their emotional


climate:

 By providing vocational training or short-Courses in order to improve


emotional intelligence, which helps to create a supportive and
understanding environment.
 By in making transparent emotional guidelines.
 By train our managers to be more emotionally intelligent and
demonstrate understanding which will set an example for the
employee, (as it is mentioned that Laura’s company manager
screaming at their employee).
 Encourage employees to openly give emotional feedback to the higher
authority in organization.
