1.0 INTRODUCTION

Many sports are developing in our country today. Although this sport is developing but
there are still people or society who do not know about the existence or basic skills of this
sport. The assignment given this time by Madam Ummi Khaltum is to make a mini sports
event where this sports event is to give exposure and introduction about one sport. This
activity just wants to teach the participants about the basic skills of sports and give them a
new and fun experience by participating in this mini sports event. Not only the participants
but also the spectators who will also enjoy witnessing this mini sports event because this
event does not pressure the participants to win like a professional athlete but only to give
individuals the freedom to relate to the activity and help achieve self-quality.

This research aims to hold a mix netball sports event. As everyone knows, netball is
usually played by women but due to the world becoming more open-minded, mix netball
events are being created. Netball is the same as basketball although the rules, equipment and
team numbers are different. This game has no dribbling, no running with the ball, 7 players,
the ball passes within 3 seconds, the ball & basket are slightly smaller, no backboards and
players who assigned to a specific area. Netball has similarities to European Handball,
Korfball and Ultimate Frisbee. The objective of this sport is for the team to score a goal by
sending the ball into the opposing team's goal. Players are assigned positions that define their
role in the team and restrict their movement on the court. The game is played on a rectangular
pitch divided into three sections with a tall goal at each short end.

Based on research, the Malaysian national netball team is the netball team that
represents Malaysia in international competition. This team is managed by the Malaysian
Netball Association (PBJM) which was established in 1978. This association is the national
sports governing body that oversees, promotes and manages netball in Malaysia. PBJM is a
body registered under the Ministry of Purchase and Sports (KBS). Although Malaysia has not
yet created a mixed team for netball, but this sport is getting a lot of attention from men. So, I
organized this event to give exposure to men that they can also play netball. At the same time
many parties will open their eyes to organize more mixed netball sports events so that they
can be organized to a higher level such as national and international.

3.0 ORGANIZATIONAL CHARTS

An organization chart is a chart or diagram that shows the arrangement of programs,

activities, sub-activities and grades as well as the number of positions available in an
organization. The organization chart shows the lines of responsibility, scope and span of
control between one level of staff and another in an organization and their respective fields of
work.
The organization chart is a guide in the implementation of functions and programs
towards achieving the objectives of an organization. The position structure of each member
the organization of the mini mixed netball event will be held as follows:

4.0 GOALS, MISSION AND VISION, AND OBJECTIVE
4.1 GOALS
The main goal of organizing this mini event is to give birth to a generation that is
healthy physically and mentally. Not only the participants will have healthy physical because
of playing sports but the audience also will have fun and at the same time they will be able to
reduce stress by watching this mini sports event. Those who attend this mini sports event can
relieve their physical and mental distress who are tired of doing and thinking about life with
the current unstable economic situation.

4.2 VISION AND MISSION

Make sports events a mandatory event for everyone regardless of age and gender

1. Create a society that is active in any field of sports

7.0 RULES AND REGULATION
Rules and regulations are guidelines that will be used in upcoming sporting events.
Every participant in a sporting event is required to follow all the rules and regulations that
have been created. Here are the rules and regulations for the mix netball mini event which
will be organized:

8.0 COMPEPETIVE SCHEDULE
The tournament schedule is set up so that the competition runs smoothly, and
competing teams can prepare before their turn. The system for this mini event is an 8-team
knockout system. This system was chosen because it is suitable and coincides with the
purpose of this event because it can be carried out in a short time and quickly to choose the
winner.

9.0 FACILITY & EQUIPMENT
Sports facility means area common people gather to engage in physical exercise,
participate in athletics competition, or watch a sporting event.Sports equipment, also called
sporting goods, are tools, materials, clothing, and equipment used to compete in sports and
vary depending on the sport.
Equipment and facilities are one of the important factors that allow athletes to
perform as well as possible and they need to be in good condition and functional so that
players can prepare themselves before the competition starts and no accidents happen.

10.0 BUDGET
The term budget refers to an estimate of revenues and expenses over a specified
period of time and is usually compiled and evaluated. Budgets can be created for any entity
that wants to spend money, including governments and businesses, along with people and
households at any income level.
All events must have a spending budget and adhere to the balance of income or
expenses or ratios shown in the goals. Budgeting includes planning to meet program
requirements, maintaining records, and regulating accounting systems. The organizers have

generated the finances for this mixed netball game and have a suitable and sufficient budget
to implement this event

A Gantt chart is a commonly used graphical representation of a project schedule. It is
a type of bar chart that shows the start and end dates of project elements such as resource
planning, project activities and tasks, events and dependencies used in managing the project.

CONCLUTION

In conclusion, this assignment has taught a lot about the management of sports events.
It is not easy for an organizer to organize or hold a sports event. There are many factors that
need to be emphasized and researched such as the type of event to be organized, how to play
the game, date, place, time, event organization, event scheduling, posters to promote the
organized event, rules games, match schedule, facilities and equipment that will be used
throughout the event and the budget for organizing the event. All this needs to be researched
so that the organized event will run smoothly and unwanted things will not happen.

Those who involved in organizing this get experience of being an authority and
responsible person in sports events. As an authority, fair and not biased are the most
important things that needs to be done. Then, the sports event will be fair and equitable and
all parties will be satisfied with the winning results of the event. This assignment helps to
gain knowledge about how to play netball and the basic skills of this game from organizers
involved who are netball players. Communication and management skills are also improved
by performing this task. Organizers also learn how to communicate with players as an
organizer and authority. Obviously this assignment gives a lot of good things of manage and
helps improve social and communication skills.
