POSSIBLE ANSWERS
Part 1
1. Do you and your family/friend often gather together?
Answer: Currently, I have moved to a nearby city to study at university. To be
honest, I don't have much time for family reunions and gathering with friends like
before. However, I always try to make time to visit my parents or hang out with
friends on every holiday.

2. What does your family do in a gathering?

Answer: We mostly meet at the weekend or in some special event. More often than
not it’s at meal times, usually in the evening when we eat dinner. At weekends we
may spend more time together as we usually have lunch and dinner together if we
aren’t out somewhere.

3. How often do you and your friend meet?

Answer: I don’t really have much free time since we move to different cities to study.
So normally, I get together with friends once or twice in 6 months for meals or coffee
to gossip. We also go on small trips every once in a while to maintain bonds and let
off some steam.

4. Do you like working in a community or being on your own?

Answer: When I was not in college, I preferred to work alone. But now, I feel like
working in a group is much better because the amount of ideas is richer, the speed
of completing work is faster, and above all, working becomes happiness.

5. Do you take part in any community centers?

Answer: In the area where I live there is a group of young volunteers specializing in
community affairs, and I am also a member of the group. We have a lot of jobs for
the community, such as helping the elderly with their jobs, or raising fund for people
and groups in difficulty.

Part 2
Describe an important family reunion that you last attended.
You should say
 what it is about
 when did it happen
 what did your family do
 and explain why it was important to you.
Answer: I have gone through 20 New Years moments. However, In fact, I remember
the day when I celebrated a happy new year with all of my family members about a
few years ago the most. We had wanted to celebrate a happy reunion of the entire
family for quite some time, but it just didn’t happen because both my elder brother
and sister were not able to make them available because they both used to live quite
far away from me and my parents due to their professions. But, we saw a great
window of opportunity to have a family celebration as soon as a new year was about
to arrive as both of my elder brother and younger sister confirmed that they would
visit us on the eve of New Year and spend a few days with us. Anyway, since it was
a rare opportunity, we all wanted to make our family reunion a memorable event by
celebrating a happy new year together at a nearby restaurant. So, on the eve of New
Year, we all went to the restaurant and ordered our favourite food and desserts.
Once our food fests were over, we decided to head to our home and watch some of
our old family videos in order to revisit our lovely and happy past as children. At the
end of our reunion, I felt like the celebration was long overdue as we all enjoyed our
time to the fullest.

Part 3
1. Which place in your area that people often round up?
Answer: Well, I guess all kinds of places where people can have a pleasant
experience together like questrooms, cinemas, live sporting events and restaurants,
as well as all those places where friends can have a lot of fun, for instance,
amusement parks or karaoke clubs . I also think that quite a lot of friends meet in
places where they can walk and do something active together. I mean parks,
embankments and even fitness centers. Many girls in my area get together with
friends in spa-centers while men usually opt for saunas and baths. In winter time, the
most popular places for friend gatherings are skating-rinks and pubs, and in summer
time, many friends meet on beaches and in countryside resorts.
2. Some teenagers think family meetings are necessary, what is your opinion?
Answer: Well, I think family ties can have a big impact on our lives and our
happiness. Humans are social creatures by nature, so building and maintaining
quality relationships is important. Family is a support system, and making the time
and effort to stay in touch with family helps to strengthen and preserve those
relationships. As a teenager, I emphasize the impact of a family reunion can actually
be quite profound on family members, helping create lasting memories through new
experiences and fun activities.
3. Do you think teenagers in gen Z tend to hide away from family meetings?
Answer: In my view, it's not fair to say that all teenagers in Generation Z hide from
family meetings. Participation varies based on individual factors like personality,
family dynamics, and personal circumstances. Adolescents often seek
independence, which can be misconstrued as avoidance. Technology may play a
role, but it doesn't mean intentional avoidance. It's important not to generalize and
encourage open communication in families to foster teen involvement.
