The game of Mindfuck

General rules of the game- (4P) (Objectives of the game are in Green shade)

1: A shuffled deck is distributed between 4 players with 3 cards (holding order) to each player. The
remainder of cards (Stack) are shuffled and then placed at the centre of the playing table.
2: The players may then check their cards from the holding order for once and arrange them if they
prefer, before finally placing their holding order on the table, FACE DOWN. With mutual decision
the players may select any player (suppose: X) to break the first card out of the Stack.
3: X may or may not replace the picked card from remainder deck with any of their cards in their
holding order. In case IF he replaces any card from their holding order with the card picked up from
the remainder deck, they must play the replaced card in the played card area, FACE UP (Cup). If
they do not replace any card from their holding order, they may just play the card picked from the
stack in to the cup.
4: The game continues in a an orderly manner (either clockwise or anti-clockwise) and each player
plays in the same manner as X.
5: The game ends when the stack is exhausted of all it’s cards.
6: The player with lowest sum total of all 3 cards of their holding order wins the game and
standings are determined in the same manner.
7: All cards have a definite value (A = 1 -> K=13). Some cards have powers associated with them.

Powers of cards-

K or King: Only by playing this card in the cup, a player is able to check the order of their holding
order, after the initial rearrangement the beginning of the game.

Q or Queen: Only by playing this card in the cup, a player may check holding order of any other
player without tampering with it.

J or Jack: Only by playing this card in the cup, a player may shuffle holding order of any other
player without checking it.

In bid Mindfuck, A ‘J’ or ‘Jack’ holds no power to shuffle any holding order. In bid
Mindfuck, playing this card in the cup, initiates a bid session for all players with bids maximum for
one card in the that particular turn. The players may place bids at any one card from all four holding
orders present at the table. If a player places bid (places value) on one of his own card, it implies
they’re defending that card with a certain value. Since the bids are limited to a decided value, the
highest bid i.e. the maximum bid value is treated on first come first serve basis.

Joker or Spare card: In bid Mindfuck, Only playing the Joker in the cup, a player may shuffle
holding order of any other player without checking it. However, the bid game includes only 2 such
cards.
7 or Seven: Only by playing this card, in a regular game (non-bidding game), a player may
exchange one card from their own holding order with any other card from any holding order.

Only 2 such cards (‘7’) are present in the bid version of the game.

OBJECTIVES OF THE GAME:

1: The game ends when the stack is exhausted of all of it’s cards.
2: The sum total of all the 3 cards in a holding order determines the standings of the game with the
lowest sum total holding order as winner.
In Bid version, the earnings from biddings do not determine the winner of the game.

Bid version Rules:

1: THERE MUST ALWAYS BE A DEALER.

1A: Bids are made on cards whenever the bidding session is commenced (by playing a ‘J’ or ‘Jack’
in the cup). Bids are open for everyone starting from the player who played a ‘J’ or ‘Jack’ and is
continued in the same manner as the rotation for one turn (clockwise or anti-clockwise). A player
may imply defending their card by putting a value, in Chips, on their cards and imply their bid by
playing the value, in Chips, in front the card they desire to place their bid on.
1B: A bid session goes on for only 1 turn for each player, after the ‘J’ or ‘Jack’ is played by any
player in the cup.
2: Each and every player is provided with a same maximum bidding value from which all bids are
supposed to be placed, under supervision of the dealer. The maximum bidding value is a mutual
threshold of value for THE ENTIRE GAME, IN THE FORM OF PLAYING CHIPS (Suppose: 10
Chips to each player). All the bids to be made in the game at any point, must be made under those
10 chips, by any one player. This means 40 chips between 4 Players (10 Chips= 1 Player). However,
a chip may have any value depending on mutual agreement between the players.
3: Only the dealer provides every player with their playing Chips. No external value in the bid
session is considered or calculated.

Facts of the game-

1: The lowest sum total is 3 with three Aces of any kind (1+1+1=3).
2: The Above rule is vulnerable.
3: Lowest sum total of any holding order needs not to be full of Aces.
4: This is a game of observing and memorising the rotation of all the cards, before they run out of
the Stack. A skill based game, with the bid rules above, this game is safe bidding.
5: Bid exchanges work just like a normal ‘7’ or ‘Seven’ exchange, but only by placing a bid with
certain value under the maximum bidding value.
6: Bid games can be of more material contents when decided and communicated mutually, but if
with the rules followed above, it’s healthier. THE END.
