❑ Detailed and powerful modeling sounds delivered by Korg’s
modeling technology. 1 3
❑ 58 types of modeling effect variation are built in, and you can use up
to six different effects (including noise reduction) and volume pedal
simultaneously. 2
❑ You can edit all of the parameters for each effect in the four effect
categories (pre-effect, drive/amp, modulation, delay/reverb). 5
❑ Use these modeling effects to create your own sounds and store 6
them in internal memory as one of 40 user programs. In addition, 40 9
more programs are provided as presets for immediate use. (p.54

About the AMP/LINE setting

Use this setting to specify the type of device to which you've connected the AX5G; such as a guitar amp, mixer or recorder.
This setting compensates the output from the guitar amp model so that it will be suitable for connection to the input jack of your guitar amp.
A1: Use this setting if you've connected the AX5G to a clean-sounding amp, such as a typical US-made open-backed combo.
A2: Use this setting if you've connected the AX5G to an amp with a distinctive mid-range character, such as a UK-made open-backed combo.
A3: Use this setting if you've connected the AX5G to a stack-type amp, such as a 4x12 closed-back cabinet.
Ln: Use this setting if you've connected the AX5G to a line input, to the power amp input of a guitar amp, or to a recorder.

Apropos AMP/LINE-Einstellung
Diese Einstellung ist wichtig. Damit gibst du nämlich an, an welchen Gerätetyp du dein AX5G anschließen möchtest (Gitarrenverstärker,
Mischpult, Recorder usw.).

If you set the DEPTH to 10 for CLASSIC CHORUS, CLASSIC FLANGER, or FILTRON, adjusting the MANUAL value won't produce any
change.
If you're using F9-FILTRON and want to assign P3-MANUAL as the pedal control target, set P4-DEPTH to a value of 0 (or near 0).
