Kids Opener multipack

User Guide

Two typographies are used in the project, available to download following these links
https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Fjalla+One
https://www.dafont.com/es/comicy.font
Make sure you have installed the fonts on your computer. You may used the font of your choice
though.
After FX projects: 4 AE are included: KidsPromo, 1 lower 3rd, 2 transitions and 2 titlecards.
KidsPromo:You will find separate composition for all customization items> editable text
and photos (or videos) and logo.
In the project window there are one main folder containing all editable items named
CUSTOMIZATION and a render composition named “Render_Comp_KidsPromo”
Lengh 1:05 . HD 1920x 1080 25 fps.

TO CUSTOMIZE IMAGES
Let´s start with the example from the image above PHOTO_01_A_HERE .
All comps and AE are all built by the same structure so once you do one the rest will follow very
easily. In the project window double click on the comp to access

In all IMAGE compositions you will see a shape figure as reference to help you place your picture
These are guide layers so they wont be visible in the render movie. Just import your pictures
into the project and place then there. Repeat the operation for the all the Photo compositions.
TO CUSTOMIZE TEXT
Under TEXT FOLDER in project window, sellect the text composition you would like to
customize. For example, ¨02_TEXT_TYPE_HERE¨. Again, double click on it.
In all text comps the text layers are coloured fuchsia in order to identify them easily.
Double click on the fuchsia text layers and type the text you like.
at this point if you prefer you can modify the character properties such as colour, type or size

you will see a duplicated text layer coloured grey. Type only in the fuchsia name TYPE HERE
and the white text will update automatically. However if kerning or such need to be edited
you should do that manually. for scale or position porpouse you may use the null object named
“text handle”. Repeat this for all text compositions including titlecards.
TO CUSTOMIZE LOGO
Go to IMAGE LOGO, follow the same procedure as the footage> import the logo,
go to the comp and use the reference shape to place it. Done.

Then edit the “TEXT_YOURSITE.COM_LOGO” by typing in the fucshia text layer. You may
turn this layer off if needed . Done!
All graphics layers are locked and hided, so in case you want to adjust anything on timing or
animation just unhided them. ALL SOURCE FILES ARE INCLUDED so is fully editable.

DONE. You are ready to export your movie. From the project window sellect “render comp”
composition and from the main menu choose composition/make move.
Choose the format that suits your better.
LOWER 3RD AE
Follow the customization as explained before. Open the project, double click on fuchsia text
layers and type. Remember to export the movie using alpha channel to compose over images.
There is a null object named TEXT POSITION /SCALE, its there for you to adjust the position
or scale of the group together.

TRANSITIONS X 2 AE
You have two versions to use. Sellect one and just export the movie. you have a mark on the
first layer in comp to indicate full screen.
TITLECARDS X 2
Even thought they are both use in the promo, the AE project for these two titlecards is included
sepately so you can use it in any editing. Sellect the version you want to use and edit the fuchsia
text layers. Remember, colorful text have to edited character by character.

Have in mind to export the movie with alpha channel in order to compose over images the
transition in/out
