Managing Emotions
There are many ways in handling or managing emotions, some of them are as follow:
Exercise- for some people, doing exercise helps to relax the mind and release some of your
stress.
Be kind to others- helping others and seeing them being grateful towards you also makes
you feel happy and flattered, it makes you forget your problem for a
while.
It’s good to talk- have someone you're close with to talk to, it can be your close friend or
family member and enjoy their company.
Distract yourself- it could be watching tv, surfing the internet, scrolling through your news
feed in your social media accounts, or watching new trends in tik-tok.
Don’t give in to negative thinking- if you’re having thoughts about it, then quickly change
it to happy thoughts.
Play to your strengths- doing what you loved is also another way of managing your
emotions. Pour all your emotion into what you’re making.
Notice the good things in your life- instead of having doubts in life and feeling down about
the situation that you’re in, think about the positive and the good thing
that comes with it.
Spend time outside- have a technology and social media detoxification and just be one with
nature. Have a walk with your dog outside and enjoy the view to relax
the mind.
Take a deep breath- taking a deep breath sometimes is all it needs to take a break from the
intense emotions that we are feeling, to relax our mind, and to give
time to think clearly.
Give yourself some space- have time for yourself, self-love and self-care.
