    SRI SIMHAGIRI EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY has applied for Extension of Permission for Private Un-Aided Degree College by
    name VIJETHA DEGREE COLLEGE in Gajapathinagaram Mandal, Vizianagaram District for the academic year 2023-24 vide ref
    5th cited.

    After careful scrutiny of the proposal as per rules in vogue, the AP State Council of Higher Education, in exercise of the powers
    vested in it vide ref 1stcited and in accordance with G.O under reference 3rd cited,accords provisional approval of Extension of
    Permission to VIJETHA DEGREE COLLEGE in Gajapathinagaram Mandal, Vizianagaram District run by SRI SIMHAGIRI
    EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY for the academic year 2023-24 for the following courses as per the details given below:

    The provisional Extension of Permission accorded is subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions:
    1. The management should obtain prior approval of affiliation for the College, Courses with Combinations, Intake and Medium of
    instruction, from the concerned University during the academic year 2023-24, failing which the Extension of Permission accorded is
    deemed to be cancelled without any further notice.
    2. The Management has to acquire own permanent accommodation before the completion of the academic year 2025-26. Therefore,
    the Management shall provide proof of registered own land along with approved building plan for construction of own
    accommodation from the competent authority while submitting application for Extension of Permission for the academic year

    2024-25 and proof of construction of own buildings while submitting application for Extension of Permission for 2025-26.
    3. The College (a) shall not shift to any other place; (b) shall not change the name of the College, (c) shall not transfer the
    management of the College and (d) shall not convert Women`s College to Co-Education and vice-versa till it is shifted into own
    building and such shifting/transfer/conversion is unauthorized as per rules in force.
    4. The APSCHE has the authority and reserves the right to withdraw the permission, at any point of time, on any action of the
    Management / College which damages or causes disrepute to Govt./Univ./Council.
    5. The management shall obtain prior approval of affiliation for the College, Programmes with Combinations, Intake and Medium of
    instruction, from the concerned University during the academic year 2023-24, failing which the Extension of Permission accorded is
    deemed to be cancelled without any further notice.
    6. The management shall follow the rules issued by the Government / Competent Authority from time to time on all aspects related
    to the administration of the college.
    7. Infrastructure facilities like Buildings, Land, Playground, Lab equipment, Library, Furniture etc., should be well maintained for
    the effective functioning of the College.
    8. The accommodation shown for Degree College shall not be used for any other purpose other than running the degree college for
    which permission is given by the APSCHE.
    9. The management shall not change the Programmes / Combinations, intake and media sanctioned in these proceedings failing
    which, such action will be construed as tampering of records for which APSCHE will initiate necessary legal action against the
    Management.
    10.The management of the College shall set up a grievance and complaints cell as per the Supreme Court / UGC guidelines for
    dealing with sexual harassment / ragging related cases and other grievances etc.
    11.The management shall put in place a "Students Counselling System" for effective redressal of problems and challenges faced by
    students to bridge formal and communicative gap between students and institution.
    12.The Management shall implement UGC Regulations and sensitise the students on ill effects of junk food.
    13.The Managements shall also organize orientation programs for spreading awareness on the ills of tobacco, alcohol and drugs.
    14.The management of the College shall not affiliate itself to any University outside the State of Andhra Pradesh and run the
    programmes of other State University in their premises under Section 21-A of A.P. Education Act 1982, failing which, the
    Managements shall face criminal action under Section 21-A of AP Education Act.
    15.The management shall establish a website for the college and keep all the necessary academic and administrative information in
    the website.
    16.APSCHE reserves the right to conduct surprise checks at any time. The Council also reserves the right to cancel permission /
    affiliation of the college at any stage, if it is found that the documents produced by the management are false, interpolated and
    improper and the management is not able to run the college as per the norms of the Government and academic stipulations of the
    concerned University, apart from any defaults/ irregularities committed which would attract legal proceedings under Law.
