Complete the following tasks.

Task II. Compose a lyrical poem with four lines, end rhyming, and ten syllables per
line. It could be about anything your desire. Make sure it is an original work. Draw or
place a picture related to the theme of your poem.

When you left me, I feel lonely and sad

Cry! Cry! Didn’t even think to get mad

I’m walking on a dark road while it rains

Hoping you know that I’m in a great pain

Task III. Write an excerpt of a 100-word science fiction story. The main character's
name is your name, but the point-of-view of narration is still the third person. Draw or
place a picture related to the theme of your image.

The Immortal Wars

Alliah and his companions witnessed a terrible incident one night that resulted in the
deaths of numerous innocent individuals. A terrible explosion caused a tragedy. She
claimed that tranquility would be experienced in a fight when they overcame a
subordinate or army when she and her companions were in a tent. Around midnight,
Alliah and her friend emerged from a tent amid relative quietness. Alliah said that
there are many innocent people who died, the guilty must be held accountable and
punished. They will battle fairly to achieve peace at the end of the tale.
Task IV. Write an argumentative paragraph with at least ten sentences about Filipino
students' poor reading skills and reading comprehension based on international test
results.

In the 2018 Programme for International Student Assessment's reading

comprehension category, The Philippines had the lowest score. The Philippines
received a reading comprehension score of 340 in this survey by the Organization for
Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This is lower than the 487
average for the OECD. With scores of 353 and 357, respectively, in mathematics and
science, the Philippines also performed poorly. "Pisa 2018 assessed around 600,000
15-year-old children in 79 countries and economies on reading, science, and
mathematics, with the main focus being on reading, and the majority of pupils
performing the test on computers." According to K12 Reader, "reading is nothing
more than monitoring symbols on a page with your eyes and sounding them out
without comprehension." Reading comprehension can be defined as the process of
understanding what you are reading. In conclusion, reading comprehension is a
necessary ability to possess. It enables us to comprehend what is written.
