7.0 Problem statement
Unable to find the right file or certain data in the system. When there are many
information is in processed, the presence of the data would be hard to detect. Finding the
data one by one is going to be a waste of time. They will therefore, use a username or
identification card number or user address to search for the data.
Data redundancy occurs in multiple locations when the same piece of data exists, while
data inconsistency occurs in multiple tables when the same data exists in various formats.
Data redundancy, unintentionally, might cause data inconsistency, which can provide
inaccurate and/or irrelevant information to a business.
Difficulty organizing data. This is because it can cause the data to become fibrous when
too much data is processed, and often the data files are not in ascending and descending
order. Since the data is not in order, it will make the user more difficult to find the data and
it is a waste of the user time.
10
8.0 Suggestion Solution
Use unique keys to make the process of searching file easier. When using this
unique key, the searching will be easier because it is more specific to the file that being
searched. This is flexible in searching to find all the data such as entering the customer ID
or customer name. When using unique key as well, the data searched by the user will be
the right file.
Data redundancy can be prevented with use normalization method to organizing the
data. Database normalization is the process of efficiently organizing data in a database so
that redundant data is eliminated. This process can ensure that all data looks and reads
similarly across all records. Normalizing data involves organizing the columns and tables
of a database to make sure their dependencies are enforced correctly.
Data sorting is any process that involves arranging the data into some meaningful
order to make it easier to understand, analyze or visualize. When working with research
data, sorting is a common method used for visualizing data in a form that makes it easier
to comprehend the story the data is telling. Sorting can be done with raw data. By using
DBMS, the data can be sorted in order by separate them into ID, name, price, and rate of
water.

9.0 Objective of Proposed System
The system is designed to make it easier storing a lot of data in our company and
provide good customer service including accurate and efficient billing system and revenue
collection. This system store consumers data more effectively, easily accessible, flexible
and secure by using DBMS.
In addition, there is no loss of billing when using the database system and provides
a huge advantage in saving time and effort that is usually lost in traditional billing systems.
Besides, the company also provide sufficient good quality treated water in line with
the increase in population and the state social economic growth and provide water supply
facilities to fulfil the people needs in states by complete water supply distribution, and by
the efficient service and customer oriented.
