1. Ifa says that if this Odu foresees Ayewo of any kind, it is not
advisable for a man to marry a woman that he has the mind
of marrying. This is because the woman will never stay with
him no matter how much he tried. The couples are not
meant for each other. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo
with one matured he-goat and money. on this, Ifa says:

Opipi yeyin nuwon

K’apaa re o le baa kaa
Dia fun Orunmila
Baba nlo soko Idin
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O koti ogbonyin sebo
Iyawo ale ana nko Ifa?

Translation
Let the featherless fowl make little eggs
So that it arms can cover the eggs
Ifa’s message for Orunmila
When going to Idin
He was advised to offer ebo

Orunmila, where is the wife of yesternight
 Just like maggot
She had run away

2. Ifa says that it foresees the ire of prosperity for the person
for whom this Odu is revealed. Ifa advises this person to
offer ebo with four white pigeons, four guinea-fowls and
money. There is also the need to consecrate the icon of Aje
for him/her in order to be one of the people who will use
money to achieve great feats in life. On this, Ifa says:

Lapandede lo fo nami, fo nake

Dia fun won Lapaa Okun
Won o mo oun tin je Aje
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O gb’ebo, o ru’bo
Nje ko ma seye bi Ofe o
Alapandede rora fo

Translation
The mini bat flew and hit both the water and the roof of a
cave
Ifa’s message for the people living in one side of the ocean
When they did not know what Aje, financial success is all
about
They were advised to offer ebo
There is no bird like Ofe bird
Let Alapandede the mini bat fly with caution
3. Ifa says that this person will be confiding with a befitting title.
Ifa urges him/her to accept the honor because it will enhance
his/her prestige. Ebo materials: one matured she-goat and
money. on this, Ifa says:

4. Ifa warns this person not to embark on the journey that

he/she has the mind of going. This is in order for him/her not
to meet with disaster that may cost him/her his/her life. Ifa
 advises this person to offer ebo with one matured he-goat
and money. on this, Ifa says:

Ti nlo soko alero lodun
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O koti ogbonyin sebo

Ifa’s message for Asa, the Hawk
When going on annual farm cultivation
She was advised to offer ebo
She refused to comply
Asa had never been this long on the farm
It was because Asa took the wrong way

5. Ifa advises a woman looking for the fruit of the womb to offer
ebo in order to beget her own baby. The ebo materials here
are one carved image, two guinea-fowls, two pigeons, two
hens and money. She will go to the market and strap the
carved image on her back. While in the market she will buy
pepper, locust bean, salt etc from pregnant women or
nursing mothers in the market. After this she will return
home. That was how she will be until the ebo is offered.
She will not remove the carved image from her back. After
the ebo had being completed the woman will go and put the
carved image by Esu. All the things that she bought in the
market will be divided into two and one half will be placed
with the carved image by Esu. The significance of this is
that the woman had gone to buy her own baby in the market.

Ifa’s message for Aworan Gaga, the Carved Image
Their daughter in Ekure land
She was advised to offer ebo
Now Aworan gaga
Not until the day that you strap a carved image on your back
That you will become the mother of your own baby
 You Aworan gaga

6. Ifa says that there is one child who loves to make trouble
and create problem for his/her mother. There is the need to
offer ebo so that this child will not kill the mother with his/her
problems. If this child is a female, there is the need to
consecrate Egbe for her. If a male, there is the need to
initiate him into Ifa. Ebo materials: two roosters, two hens
and money.

7. Ifa advises a woman to go and cleanse her head against

chronic debts. If this is not done, her husband will be the one
paying debt that she had incurred. This may lead to
 separation or divorce. There is also the need to tie the Ifa
bead for the woman. Ebo materials: eight guinea-fowls,
eight pigeons, 16 rats, 16 fish and money. on this, Ifa says:

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

Ero Ipo, ero Ofa

Ifa’s message for Orunmila
When going to become the husband of Ode
He was advised to offer ebo
Travelers to Ipo and Ofa towns
Who does not know that it was contribution to pay off the
debt of Ode that we are making

8. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo against four evil

principalities. These are death, affliction, contention and
loss. Ebo materials: four roosters, four hens, and money.
There is the need to feed Ifa with eight rats and eight fish.
There is also the need to feed Esu with one rooster. All the
feathers of the rooster will be removed and placed on Esu.
On this, Ifa says:

Nijo tiku-tarun nkan ilee ree re
Ajogun gbogbo nkanle Baba lo o
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

Translation
Idin ran away but I did not run away

Ifa’s message for Orunmila
When death and affliction were coming to his house
When all evil principalities were heading for his home
He was advised to offer ebo
He complied
After death had counted

It is unendingly that a child count the leave of Agbonyin in
the forest

9. Ifa warns that there is a woman where this Odu is revealed

who must not use metal bangles in order to avoid a situation
where her husband will meet with calamity and untimely
death. Ifa advises this woman to offer ebo with three
roosters, three hens and money. She also needs to add all
the metal bangles, trinket, wristwatches with metal chains
that she has to the ebo. Everything will be placed on the
Esu after the ebo. On this, Ifa says

Idin o sajo
Dia fun Odunnbaku
Omo arohun pokopoko nigbo Ijebu
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Ifa’s message for Odunnbaku
Who has something that kills the husband in Ijebu forest
She was advised to offer ebo
She complied

10. Ifa says that it foresees the ire of victory for this person.
His/her victory is in the hand of Osun. Ifa advises this
woman to offer ebo with three roosters, one brass spear,
and money. There is also the need to feed Osun with one
tied hen. On this, Ifa says:

Afefe yeriyeri awo Oluosinginni

Dia fun Olu-Osinnginni
Eyin omo afesin ide werewere segun
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O gb’ebo, o ru’bo
Ko pe, ko jinna
E wa ni ni wowo ire

The gentle breeze the awo of Oluosingin
He cast ifa for Oluosingin
He who uses brass spears to overcome enemies
He was advised to offer ebo

11. Ifa says that it foresees prosperity for this person.

He/she would become a leader and a highly respect person
in the community. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with
three pigeons and money. on this, Ifa says:

Dia fun Onigburu
Omo agunfowo laba aje teteete
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Translation
The lazy man cultivated his own farm on a hill
The awo of Abata-Ede

 The offspring of that which one climbs and holds unto
prosperity of unlimited proportion

12. Ifa advises a man here to offer ebo in order not to get
into trouble and restlessness because of his wife. The wife
also needs to be cautioned here not to put her husband into
trouble and restlessness. Ebo materials: three roosters and
money.

Translation
She who enters the house without greeting anyone
She who prostrated elegantly
She who laid down with her two breast pointing to
heaven
Ifa’s message for Awodi Osa
 Who would enter the forest and the wilderness all
because of his wife
He was advised to offer ebo

13. Ifa says that there is one thin and angular person who
is going to bring trouble into the community where he/she
lives. There is the need for the whole community to be very
careful and to offer ebo against the person putting them into
trouble. Ebo materials: one matured he-goat and money.
on this, Ifa says:

The ant hill is not against the fire set by the farmer
A trouble maker predisposes himself to being hit with a
baton

 Who is going to bring trouble into Lakoya land
He was advised to offer ebo

Traveler to Ipo and Ofa
Let those advised to offer ebo comply accordingly

14. Ifa says that there is a child here whose mother is dead
and who is living with a surrogate mother. There is the need
to offer ebo for this child so that he/she will not die. The
elders of the night want to kill the child. If this child should
die, the whole family will face unprecedented crises and
unbelievable disaster. Ifa advises them to offer ebo with one
matured he-goat and money. on this, Ifa says:

Emo nii jeko wele-iwele

Afeebojo nii jeko melo-melo
Dia fun Afise-womo, afiya-womo
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

15. Ifa warns this person never to go out at night. People

will come and call him/her to go out with them but he/she
must never go. This person also needs to abstain from
going to the market for at least nine days. Ifa says that there
is a fowl that lays either seven or nine eggs. Ifa says that
there is one of the eggs that are smaller than all others. It is
the smallest egg that will be used to feed the elders of the
night. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with one matured
he-goat and money. On this, Ifa says:

16. Ifa says that this person shall cause to celebrate. Ifa
will ensure success and progress to this person. ebo

also needs to feed Ifa with four rats and four fish. On this,
