Snopes is given a second chance. With this second chance he is able to avoid legal
ramifications, move out of town and start life over hopefully having learned from his
mistakes. But like most characters in a allegory rthee is a lesson to be learned from
them and in this case Mr. Snopes does not learn from his previous mistakes. In a sense
of total disregard for others property Mr. Snopes soils his new boss s rug and is forced
to clean it. Instead of thoroughly and carefully cleaning the rug he ruins it and trys to
return it to his boss. When his boss orders him to pay for the rug Mr.Snopes becomes
enraged and reverts back to old habits. Mr.Snopes is depicted as a man who will not
hesitate to evoke the power of fire against those who impose him (Lodges 44) .This
statement gives a clear view into the kind of devious and anger provoked actions
Mr.Snopes is willing to undertake in order to get revenge on those he feels have
wronged him. This statement also shows the kind o fangry attitude which will
ultimately be Mr.Snopes downfall. Mr. Snopes enlist his son to help him burn down
his bosses barn but young Snopes does not want to partake in any more of Mr. Snopes
destructive fits of anger. In a panicked mental state young Snopes warns one of the
servants at the boss s house and help is sent out to stop Mr.snopes. The boss and the
serant ran out to the barn and killed Mr.Snopes. The sin of anger had comeback and
Esigenetic Stress Memories
1. Background
Organisms are exposed to different kinds of environmental stresses during their life cycle.
To cope up with environment assaults, plants and animals undergo some homeostasis
alterations during somatic growth and heritable (transgenerational) gene expression
modifications. The heritable changes can occur without any changes in base sequences
and is commonly known as epigenetics. Molecular mechanisms of epigenetic
modification includes DNA methylation, histone modification (methylation, acetylation,
uniquitination, phosphorylation, ribosylation, and biotinylation), small RNA mediated
regulation and chromatin remodeling (Wagner, 2003; Vanyushin, 2006). All of these
mechanisms may be regulated by different environmental stresses. Studies have revealed
altered gene expression in plants, in response to stress conditions that can be fixed
epigenetically and inherited to next generation, forming epigenetic stress memories.
2. Molecular Basis
2.1 DNA methylation
The modification at fifth carbon position of a cytosine ring (addition of methyl group to
the 5` position of cytosine, thus converting cytosine to 5 methylcytosine (5mC)) is called
as DNA methylation. In plants, DNA methylation has usually found in three contexts,
methylation at CG, CHG (H replacing A, C or T) and at CHH sites (Chen et al., 2010;
Zemach et al., 2010). This DNA methylation accumulated during vegetative phase under
influence of environment will be transmitted to next generation through germline

Censorship Is Bad
Imagine if a society controlled what people see, hear, or did. This type of censorship is
harmful to a society. Everyone needs to understand each other s freedoms. This issue is
discussed in Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. In this society, they can not read certain
things and people decide to commit suicide over it. Censorship takes away our rights as
individuals. It violates the First Amendment, keeps people from learning, and gives the
government total control.
Censorship violates the First Amendment. In the article entitled Censorship in the
Schools , the author states, we believe the library media center is protected from
censorship by the bill of rights specifically, by the First Amendment, which guards
freedom of expression . This takes away people s freedom because with having
censorship people can only do what certain people allow. The author of the article goes
on to say the American Library Association tries to get people to be along with
censorship. We all should have the right to do whatever we want as citizens. It is not
right for people to try to ban what we see or do. Censorship keeps individuals from
learning. Prabhakar Pillai, author of, Pros and Cons of Censorship remarks, children are
prevented from learning things that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the article Pros and Cons of Censorship by Prabhakar Pillai says, scenes of people
consuming alcohol or smoking influence people to copy them; Hence, censoring such
scenes serves a useful purpose. Therefore, people should not be able to turn on the
television and see things like that. It is understandable why the opposition believes that
censorship should not allow certain things to air on television. Even though they should
not air bad scenes such as people drinking, smoking, or doing sexual things on television
is true, everyone has the right to see whatever they
