Respect Essay To
Crafting an essay on the topic of respect, particularly one that is original and not a mere copy of
existing content, can prove to be a challenging endeavor. Respect is a multifaceted concept,
encompassing various dimensions such as cultural, personal, and societal perspectives. To produce an
essay that stands out, it requires a deep understanding of the subject matter, thoughtful analysis, and
the ability to articulate one's thoughts effectively.
One of the primary difficulties lies in presenting a fresh perspective on a topic that has been
discussed extensively. It demands creativity and the ability to explore nuances that may not be
immediately apparent. Additionally, defining respect in a universally acceptable manner while
acknowledging diverse interpretations can be intricate. Striking the right balance between personal
opinions and established theories further complicates the writing process.
Moreover, maintaining coherence throughout the essay is essential, ensuring that each paragraph
flows logically and contributes meaningfully to the overall argument. Citing relevant examples and
evidence to support claims adds depth to the essay but requires meticulous research and critical
thinking. Achieving the right tone, one that is both informative and engaging, adds an extra layer of
complexity to the task.
In conclusion, writing an essay on respect requires navigating a maze of complexities, from ensuring
originality and depth of thought to addressing the multifaceted nature of the topic. It demands a
combination of research skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication. However, the end
result, when successfully achieved, can be a powerful exploration of a fundamental aspect of human
interaction.

The Death Of Marilyn Monroe
The famous Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her bed but was it suicide? It was a
murder that was unsolved at the time of the death and spread through the news to
become one of the most talked about murder mysteries. Was it really a mystery?
Through an enormous amount of research and the analysis and synthesis of the victim,
crime scene, suspicious behavior, and evidence, it is clear that the murderer has been
identified. Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her bedroom from a possible overdose
on August 5, 1962. Marilyn Monroe was born Norma Jean Mortenson in Los Angeles
on June 1, 1926. When she was younger; her mom was emotionally unstable and was
frequently confined to an asylum, so Marilyn was reared by a succession of foster
parents and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Marilyn Monroe s death, being only 36 years old and murdered by an unknown
victim, was very shocking to many Americans. Upon completion of the report, it is
clear that an examination of the unresolved murder is necessary. No stone will be left
unturned; no avenues left unexplored. To seek justice for Marilyn Monroe and her
family, an in depth analysis must be conducted in order to break down the data and
identify a possible killer. The crime scene and how they found Monroe dead, in her
own bed, is an enormous indication of who actually killed her. The Saturday night
before she passed away, she did not go out with anyone, By early next day she would
be dead, found nude by her housekeeper, face down on her bed, clutching a telephone
receiver, an empty bottle of Nembutal capsules at her side ( Monroe s last day ). Her
housekeeper, Mrs. Murray, could not open the door so she immediately called
Monroe s psychiatrist, Dr. Greenson, because her light was still on and she was
unaware of what was happening at the time. When Dr. Greenson arrived he had to
take a poker from the fireplace and smash the window and climb in Monroe s room.
Once Dr. Greenson walked into Marilyn Monroe s room he found her, ...nude on her
bed, face down, with a telephone in one hand ( Monroe found dead ). She may have just
hung up the phone with her doctor saying she wanted to go for a
Negative Effects Of Interracial Relationships
Relationships formed by two ethnicities can create a union between different cultures
such as Asian, Hispanic, African American, American, and many others. One factor that
comes from these relationships is children. Adolescents, whether they are involved in or
are the product of mixed race couples, are negatively affected by interracial relationships.
In result of these relationships, those adolescents face social, emotional, and cultural
issues. Those issues include receiving social backlash from those around them,
experiencing an identity crisis, and receiving neglect from their families.
In 1967, the decision made by the Loving v. Virginia court case established that
interracial relationships would be legal, and all laws against it would be invalidated
(Loving v. Virginia). Afterwards, many biracial children were born, which created a new
problem for those with different cultural backgrounds. People of different cultures face
many troubling issues separate from the problems most White Americans have to face.
The most offensive and abusive issue is racism. Racism is a major life changing issue in
society that hurts a majority of the ethnic cultures. A study reports, Overall, 58% of
Americans say racism is a big problem in our society (Neal). This shocking realization
puts in the perspective the many issues that ethnic people endure. Although, biracial
adolescents have to face racism in a different form. These adolescents aren t accepted in
society due to their
Year Round School Benefits
Barack Obama stated, The challenges of the new century demand more time in the
classroom. A three month vacation from school may seam ideal, but in reality it is
detrimental to a child s education. Year round schooling is very beneficial not only
because it offers educational benefits, but family benefits as well. The family benefits
that attending a year round schoolprovides are financial stability and a much easier time
planning family vacations. It can be hard for parents to find childcare for three
months in a row as well as having the money to do so. Families with an employed mother
and children younger than 15 paid an average of $143 per week for child care in 2011,
up from $84 in 1985 (Child Care Costs on the Upswing, Census... Show more content on

With the frequent breaks that come along with year round schooling, this helps the
students and teachers to not become overwhelmed by being overcrowded. Just like
schools with a traditional calendar, year round school students attend 180 days of
school. The only difference is is that year round schools have a multi track system that
consists of four different tracks. The way this schedule works is that while one track
is out of school for a fifteen day break, three other tracks are in school for 45 days.
Once the group that was on a fifteen day break have returned to school, one track will
be sent out on their fifteen day break. ( What Is A Multi Track Year Round Calendar?
15). The three month vacation many kids get is not such a good thing. This is
because over the course of three months, children forget half of what they had learned
previously. Year round schooling provides children to retain information much better
by having shorter, more frequent breaks. A comparison was done between three year
round schools and three standard schedule schools to compare how much knowledge
was gained by the students by the end of the year. The three year round schools had
gained 10.05% more knowledge of math and 10.52% reading skills by the end of the
school year. The standard schedule school had gained 7.71% more knowledge of math
and 8.91%. ( Year Round School Statistics 8). As you can see, year round school
increases students knowledge, and offers a better learning environment by providing
appropriate durations for breaks for students and teachers to relieve themselves from the

Speech Reflection Essay
During speech class this semester, I gave several different types of speeches on several
different topics. During this semester, my ability to give speeches in front of an
audience has improved quite a bit, I hope. Going into the semester, I had a really hard
time giving speeches to people, but now that speechis almost over I feel like I am more
capable of doing so. I think the thing I did best during the semester was getting good
information for each of my speeches. My favorite assignment was most likely the
impromptu speech. I really liked that one because we did not have to prepare an
outline or anything like that, we just got to go up there and speak. During this
semester, I learned a lot about how to give speeches such as the proper way to stand so
I do not rock, or how to use my hands to emphasize my points. In the future, I think that I
will be able to control my speed betterduring my speeches which will help the people I
am presenting to understand my message. I think the skills I have acquired during
speech will help me for the rest of my life. No matter what career I choose, I am sure
that at some point I will have to present to someone about something. The skills I
learned in speech will also help me just communicate with people in a one on one
situation easier than I do now. I can use these skills throughout the rest of high school
and through my six years of college still to come because whenever I have to present a
project I will know how to effectively communicate my message to my audience.
Based off of all of my reflection sheets, video evaluations, and peer critiques I have
improved over the course of the semester. At the beginning of the semester I had a
problem with speed and using to many filler words. As the year progressed, my speed
became more and more controllable and I used less and less filler words. After my
most recent speech, I m still not quite at the level I want to be at, but I am far better
than I was at the very beginning. I think just speaking in front of people more than I am
used to doing has helped me develop better speaking skills and grow in my ability to
effectively communicate with others. Throughout the semester I learned a lot about
speaking, performing, and
Differences And Similarities Of The Buddhist And Christian...
A comparative essay, discussing the differences and similarities of the Buddhist and
Christian traditions using the working definition of mysticism.
Mysticism: Buddhism and Christian Traditions, the Differences and Similarities.
Introduction
According to Carmody Carmody (1996:10) the working definition of mysticism is the
direct experience one has with ultimate reality. In this essay this definition will be
dissected and compared to other definitions, word by word. An attempt will be made to
explain how this definition relates to mysticism from two traditions; Christian and
Buddhist. Although mysticism is not confined to religion, for the purpose of this essay
mysticism as in two religious traditions; one eastern and one western, will be ... Show

Both mystical traditions seek to overcome and go beyond sin or karma. Both sin and
karma relate to the suffering and evils in the world.
When Buddhists receive enlightenment they are freed from suffering, they are
transformed and exhibit a detachment and compassion. Carmody and Carmody
(1996:305) describe it as a psychosomatic transformation. Christian mystics go through
similar psychological processes but the difference lies in the way sin affects the mystic
because it is entails repentance, conversion or reconversion, weeping over fidelity and
renewing pledges to keep the covenant (Carmody and Carmody, 1996:307).
There is one dimension of mysticism, distinguished by Moore (Kruger, et al, 2012:23)
that has an impact on the experiences of both the Christian and Buddhist traditions and
that is the setting or context, in which these mystics seek the ultimate reality. The direct
experience of either tradition cannot not be coloured by the teachings of their respective
religions. Despite the claims of the mystics that the experience goes beyond known
consciousness, the transformations that occur still, on the whole, conform to the
tradition from which the mystic operates.

The Social Stance Of Prostitution
Prostitution is the selling of one s body in exchange for money, and it is the oldest
occupation in the world, beginning in the early society of Mesopotamia (Fanni, 2014).
Prostitutes were seen as inhumane and disease ridden since in the early 1980 s, when
prostitution was most prevalent, there was an increase of HIV/AIDS because of the
transferring of disease from prostitutes to their clients (Carrasquillo, 2014). Although
there is such a negative perception of prostitution, it is a source of continuous income for
some women in America, even though it is illegal in almost every state except some
regions in Nevada. Views of the legalization of prostitution in America differ. When
evaluating the social stance of prostitution, there are two... Show more content on

The events during their childhood led them to try different coping strategies, and it was
mainly drugs. Another finding was that 60% of the pimps grew up in a home that was
involved in prostitution. These pimps have had early exposure to prostitution, which in
turn bought them in the business. Whether they were forced to be a child prostitute or
simply became accustomed to it, 68% of the pimps began their career of selling their
bodies. They have moved up the ranks from prostitution to pimping for the main reasons
of survival.
Some turned to pimping for economic reasons, such as one participant in the Depaul
study who says that he was a prostitute before he used his computer skills to sell
women, saving him from continuing to prostitute himself and instead use his skills to
advance his position and get out of danger (Raphael Powell, 2010, p.3). For example,
48% of the pimps ran away from home to escape the conditions but ended up having to
find a way to make money. One of the participants in the Depaul study acknowledged
this, [Becoming a pimp] was easier than me committing a felony or going to the
penitentiary... I didn t have to sell drugs (Raphael and Powell, 2010). If prostitution was
legalized in the United States, nonviolent pimps would be incarcerated, since the selling
