As you know, this Firm has had the honor of representing Cassidy Hutchinson pro bono since she
fired her former counsel from representing her in connection with matters related to the House
Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. We are aware
through public reporting that her former counsel (copied here) now represents Mr. Tony
Bobulinski.
Ms. Hutchinson has no desire to get involved in the impeachment investigation conducted by the
House Committee on Oversight and Accountability. Yet she now finds herself the subject of
defamatory comments made by Mr. Bobulinski in his testimony to that Committee — comments
that have been improperly echoed and amplified by her former attorney in his February 21, 2024
letter to you, in violation of his ethical obligations owed to a prior client under the Rules of
Professional Conduct.1
The apparent issue Mr. Bobulinski and his attorney have with Ms. Hutchinson relates to her
recounting of a meeting between Mr. Bobulinski and Mark Meadows at a Trump rally in Rome,
Georgia in November 2020. Ms. Hutchinson wrote about this meeting in her book, Enough. She
witnessed this conversation from approximately 6 feet away. Ms. Hutchinson described how the
meeting was put together at the last minute, how it occurred behind the grandstands and between
Secret Service vehicles so it could be shielded from view, how Mr. Bobulinski was wearing a mask,
how Mr. Meadows handed Mr. Bobulinski something (although she does not know what it was),
and how uncomfortable the entire situation made her feel.

Her former counsel is a member of both the Georgia and Florida bars. The ethics rules are identical in both
jurisdictions.

Response to Tony Bobulinski’s Defamatory Statements Made Regarding Cassidy Hutchinson
February 23, 2024
Page 2
Mr. Bobulinski in his testimony and his counsel in his letter to you have called Ms. Hutchinson a
“liar and a fraud” and a “blatant liar.” In support of his false assertions, Mr. Bobulinski claims
under oath that he was not wearing a mask, that Mr. Meadows did not hand him anything, and that
Ms. Hutchinson was “fabricating facts.”
Perhaps Mr. Bobulinski’s memory is impaired about the meeting, and a picture would help refresh
his recollection. On that November evening Ms. Hutchinson took a photo of Mr. Bobulinski
meeting with Mr. Meadows from her vantage point just on the other side of the vehicle from their
conversation. A copy is attached to this letter. Mr. Bobulinski may be somewhat hard to make out
in this image — since he is wearing his Penn State hat…and a mask.
Ms. Hutchinson stands by what she witnessed that night and wrote in her book.
We hope Mr. Bobulinski will now correct his testimony and retract the defamatory statements he
has made regarding Ms. Hutchinson. We also hope that her former counsel will retract his
statements and come into compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct relating to an
attorney’s duty owed to past clients.
Again, Ms. Hutchinson does not want to get involved in the Committee’s inquiry and does not
believe she has relevant information to add. She has never met or talked to Mr. Bobulinski and she
had put the issues with her former counsel behind her. But she finds herself once again defamed
and attacked by powerful men with a political agenda. And we will not let that go unanswered. A
picture is worth a thousand words, especially when it shows the truth.
Sincerely,
William H. Jordan
