    A LOST LOVE (Gone with the Wind)
    A lost love is by far one of the most painful love a person can experience, no cheating involved, no
    issues arose just the love that is lost, but maybe just maybe lost love will find it’s way back to its home.
    The story Gone with the Wind has that kind of love, but the book not just tackle about love , it also tackle
    about survival of life, desperation, security , war and life. The book was written by Margarett Mitchell.
    The story started in year 1861 in Tara, Georgia. There was a girl named Scarlett O’Hara a pretty southern
    Belle, she is the Eldest daughter of Gerald O’Hara and Ellen O’Hara . She has many suitors but she only
    have her love for Ashely Wilkes a young man who loves books, music and poetry very different to the
    society’s standard during that time. She was devastated when she found out that Ashley will marry
    Melanie so she decided to confess her feelings but due for some reasons he was rejected by Ashley. In
    that time Melanie’s brother ask Scarlett hand so to get revenge and hurt Ashley , she agreed and later one
    married to each other. Months passed, she was pregnant and then worst things came. The Civil War begin
    and Scarlett husband died by the missiles. So she moved to Ashley’s and Melanie’s house.

    The story’s exciting part is when Ashley volunteer to be at the War and left Melanie who is pregnant at
    the welfare of Scarlett. They are worried about Ashely but he was captive and are held in prison. When
    the war worsened that led to Scarlett and Melanie alone , Rhett was there and help them escape and when
    they escaped, Rhett abandoned them to help in the war. When Scarlett hear the news about her family ,
    she decided to go back to Tara and rebuild it , there are some circumstances occur but she chose to marry
    again to Frank in order to survive and pay her taxes of her business and houses but sadly he was killed by
    Scarlett enemies.

    Then Rhett after hearing this, he went to Scarlett with riches and propose to her and then Scarlett
    accepted the deal. They have a child, later that on Scarlett realized that she only loved Ashley as a friend ,
    but the people around them create a rumors about them that affects the relationship of Rhett and Scarlett.
    It worsened when they two lost their child and led Rhett to fell out love to Scarlett. Scarlett then love
    Rhett but it was too late because Rhett does not feel the love that once had to her an decided to leave her
    that cause devastation to Scarlett.

    The story made us feel a rollercoaster emotions and it offer us variety of lessons. Reading the novel, I felt
    sad, heartbroken , regretful and disappointed for Scarlett for what happened to her life and the love she
    experienced with Ashley and especially to Rhett. As I go along I realized how a person can go far beyond
    measures in order to survive in life, in the story where there was war, famine and insufficient or scarcity
    of food, shelters and cloth it is important to live our life in utmost goals and purpose and also live your
    life without regrets and not afraid to take risks in life.
