    Mode (Minimum Power
    Heading) where the
    Shuttle Tanker is
    following the FPSO by
    the use of a special DP
    software version, called
    DARPS (Differential
    Absolute & Relative
    Position System).
    APPLICATIONS
     Cruise vessels are not
    allowed to anchor in
    coral areas.
     They stay in position
    on DP while
    passengers are
    transferred for shore
    visits.
     A lot of time is saved
    while calling port or
    leaving port.
