Politics
• After using Esmeralda ability (P 1.2) replace the discarded card with another from the same deck
(French rules, Omitted in En rules).
• Noble Attributes are distributed also to the starting Lords (P 2.0 French rules, Omitted in En rules).
Tactics
• Archers’ pre-battle ability can be used when defending from Cavalcades battles as they are equivalent
to regular battles (BGG Forum).
• Archers attacking Stronghold or Fortified City in pre-battle (TA 1.2) cannot use a Secret Passage
(10.2.2 card can be used that way in battle not pre-battle).
• The use of the Archers’ pre-battle ability against besieged troops (TA 1.2) must be followed by at least
1 dice roll of normal battle (6.3: Besieger can end battle after a roll”).
• Besieged archer can target one of the attacker’s Lords only when the assault is declared not just
anytime during the siege (TA 1.2.1, Errata).
• King or Queen accompanied by Royal Guards cannot be ambushed (TA 3, Errata).
Templars
• Excommunicated or renegaded Templar Lord retain their title but cannot be candidate to Grand
Master (T 1.1) or vote in elections (1.7.1 and C 1.2.3).
• (T 1.1) “A candidate to Gran Master is elected with simple majority and a minimum of 2 votes” – It
means the candidate must receive at least 2 votes (Errata, BGG Forum).
• Archbishops (T 1.2) “Count as a Cardinal when electing the king.” - Means they can fulfil alone the 2
Bishops votes requirement for the King election as a Cardinal would (1.8).
• (T 1.3) “If a Templar Gran Master is already been elected, the King must have the Pope’s support to
enact the Edict.” - Implies that the King if forbidden from enacting the Royal Edit if there is a Grand
Master but no Pope (BGG Forum).
• If the King enacts the Royal Edit without support of the Pope, Commanderies are pillaged and cannot
be rebuilt, but Lords can still become Templars and Gran Master elected (T 1.3).
• The Arab Physician cannot save the King or the Pope from the Grand Master curse (T 1.3 French rules,
Omitted in En rules).
• The roll for the Grand Master Curse is done also on the turn the royal edict is enacted (T 1.3, Errata).
• Templar Knight must be male (T 2.0 French rules, Errata).
• Templar Lord accompanied by Templar Knights cannot be ambushed (T 2.0, Errata).
Teutonic Knights
