Field Services Engineer for Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Study

PT Tura Consulting Indonesia (February 2021 - June 2021)
Bandung, Indonesia.
● Supervised drilling program for monitoring well constructions and geotechnical studies at 5
drill points with a total depth of up to 600 meters in Citra Palu Mineral’s Site, Poboya, Central
Sulawesi (PT Citra Palu Mineral).
● Analyzed drill-core and collected data needed for geotechnical studies from all 5 drill holes.
● Designed 5 monitoring-wells construction on the targeted aquifer.
● Tested the aquifer performance at 5 monitoring wells and performed a slug test for the
hydraulic properties of the aquifer.
● Processed slug test data of 5 monitoring-wells to get hydraulic conductivity values.
● Visualized 14 SPT points data and 18 CPT points data using scatter plot and line plot.

Project for Technology Development of Steam-spot Detection and Sustainable Resource Use
for Large Enhancement of Geothermal Power Generation in Indonesia, Beneficial and
Advanced Geothermal Use System (BAGUS) is a joint research project between ITB and Kyoto
University under the Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable
Development (SATREPS) program.
In charged to:
● Surveyed the site to determine 14 auger drilling points for new soil-gas moitoring-well
constructions.
● Collected radon-mercury gas concentration from 16 wells which is done regularly and
sampled hot and cold water from 12 springs around Patuha Geothermal Field.
● Coordinated with ITB Team and PT Geo Dipa Energi about the research progress and
stakeholders regarding research permits.
● Analyzed gas, soil, and water-ion data from 16 gas monitoring wells and 12 springs to
determine the permeable area as a geothermal potential zone that will be used as a drilling
area for Temperature Corehole Drilling research activities.

● Mentored up to 88 participants how to use field instruments such as GPS, a geological

hammer, geological compass, etc.
● Created 1 digital map of Sukabumi Regional Geological Map.

● Online training consisted of 18 theoretical and 7 practical materials that introduced financial
tools to assess the feasibility of the geothermal project. The course covered the introduction
to financial modeling, financial statement, time value of money, and financial parameters
(e.g. NPV, IRR, PBP, LCOE).
● Got 92 out of 100 scores in the final exam.
