    TANK FITTINGS DESCRIPTION CONSTRUCTION


    Airtrol Tank Fittings help establish the proper initial liquid Body: Cast Iron
    level in the compression tank when filling the hydronic Tubes: Copper and Copper Plated
    system. They help maintain proper system pressurization by Vent Tube Fitting: Brass
    directing released air to the compression tank during system Ball Check: ATFL (only), Stainless Steel
    operation and permit cooler liquid flow to the boiler during
    the off cycle as system liquid cools. Airtrol Tank Fittings PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
    must be used with the appropriately sized In-Line Airtrol or Max Working Pressure -
    Rolairtrol air separator. All Tank Fittings: 175 psig (1206 kPa)
    ATFL Drain-O-Tank Valve: 125 psig (862 kPa)
    Max Operating Temperature -
    All Fittings: 250°F (121°C)

    Furnish and install a compression tank fitting as shown on plans. It must contain an air separating trap and liquid control baffle
    to assure unrestricted air flow to the tank and air-free liquid flow from the tank. It must include a manual vent for adjustment of
    air volume in the tank. Cast iron ________psi (________kPa) working pressure.
