“The advance of technology is based on making it fit in so that you don't really even notice it, so
it’s a part of everyday life ”-Bill Gates. I came to understand the significance of having a precise
and tangible career vision during my Bachelors Degree. From an early age, I’ve been fascinated
by my father’s adept decision-making skills and his significant managerial role in expanding our
family business. As I matured, I envisioned myself following in his footsteps and further
developing our business. Along my academic journey, I witnessed the transformative impact of
Information Technology on business through digitization and innovation. Eventually, I found a
connection that seamlessly bridged the gap between the realms of business and the digital world.
During my academic journey, I worked on different projects in my 4th, 6th and 8th semesters.
With my programming skills, my team and I created a student management system in 4th
semester. In the 6th semester, we developed a real-time bus tracking system. For our final year
project, we focused on classifying human blood cells under microscopic imagery which was
showcased at a project exhibition and career fair. Through these endeavors, I have learned
System Analysis, Database Management, Enterprise architecture, Information Security and
Compliance, Internet-based Application, Data warehousing, Business process design etc.
Apart from academics, I volunteered at the Nada Automobile Association of Nepal. This
experience allowed me to engage directly with companies and people, highlighting the
significance of technology in business operations. I was also involved in extracurricular activities
such as basketball, badminton, and marathons. I have won medals for my college as I am
interested in sports as well.
In addition to my technical skills, training, and work experience, I joined a pre-event hosted by
Dev Community Nepal with slogans of “Getting Started with Cyber Security”. I also completed
training from Sak Digital University in Digital marketing, focusing on connecting buyers and
sellers. I participated in a month-long workshop of machine learning organized by college and
got insight about talented minds. After completion of bachelor's degree I interned at Gold Stone
Consultancy as a ux/ui designer, where i honed my designing skills.
Moreover, I am deeply committed to using the information system for the greater good of
society. In an age where misinformation and data breaches abound, ethical considerations in
information management have never been more important. I am eager to explore topics such as
data privacy, cybersecurity and digital ethics, with the goal of contributing to responsible and
sustainable information practices.
In conclusion, I am sure that the practical exposure at your university will help in overall
personality development. It will also help me to broaden my horizons and look for international
opportunities as well. I feel confident that if granted an opportunity at your university, I will gain
valuable insights and technical exposure as well as the perfect environment for my growth in
academics and technology sector as a whole.
