GRAMMAR  1Warm up: Teacher starts his class checking the language wrap up . from
VOCABULARY the previous unit page 138.then unit introduction: Teacher introduces the Saturday 1
PRONUNCIATION new unit asking Ss some questions about cities. What essential facilities and

SPEAKING Then Ss are going to think about the most important city in Nicaragua, they Saturday 2
READING COMPREHENSION will work in pairs discussing some criteria expressed before and saying why
WRITING it is a great a city.
2.Vocabulary and reading activity : Teacher asks SS what important
places have they visited in Nicaragua or outside the country , they will
describe them and talk about some main activities these places perform.
Then sSS will read a guidebook about Morocco. Teacher clarifies the new
words and help SS with pronunciation. Later Ss will write nouns in bold
from the previous text to complete sentences given in the book, finally they
will complete nouns collocations with words from exercise b.Finally Tand Ss
will check the answers.
3-Grammar focus 1:presentation, Teacher introduces connectors of
contrast through a travel blog post. He explains the function, and provides
new examples using a digital index card. practice: SS will complete a table
with connectors from the text beside they will identify the correct option to
complete sentences. Production. Ss will make up nee sentences using the
connectors , then they will share them with the whole class.
4- Grammar focus 2: presentation: Teacher introduces future tenses
through a text, then he explains the function and provide new written
examples using a digital index card .practice: Ss will complete a table from
the text, also they will read sentences and choose the correct future form.
Production. Finally Ss are going to talk about their future plans , and
intentions for their life.
5-Listening TASK: pre: teacher asks SS what are some big cities in
Nicaragua and what activities do they do? During : SS will listen to extracts
from guide tour and they will match them with pictures. Also they will listen
the extracts again and answer true and false sentences.

Post: Teacher and Ss will check the answers.

6-Speaking task : ( pair work) SS will talk about they think cities of the
future will be like, they will express their opinions taking into account some
standard features such as ( population, transportation, environment, school
s, banks, hospitals , supermarkets, restaurants etc.

7-Video practice: Ss are given class video worksheets , they will watch a
video about life in a city called Belfast . they will work on the exercises
provided on the class video worksheet.

8- computer lab practice: Teacher provides Ss a website and headsets , SS


will practice the listening skill.( second Saturday)

REINFORCEMENT / HOMEWORK
