INTRODUCTION:
As man evolved, information and its dissemination has also evolved in many ways.
Eventually we no longer kept them to ourselves; we share them and manage in different means
Information got ahead of us. It started to grow at a rate were unprepared to handle. Because of
the abundance of information it was difficult to collect and manage them starting in the 1960s
and 1970s Information is a very important tool that helps improve our way of life. One thing for
sure Information Age will continue to move forward and far greater than our minds could
imagine.

Biodiversity is defined as the vast variety of life forms in the entire Earth. It encompasses all
kinds of life forms, from single celled organisms to multicellular organisms, from a bacterial to
the large elephant for instance. It is the variability among living organisms from all sources,
including terrestrial, marine and other aquatic ecosystems and the ecological complexes of
which they are part, this includes within species, between species and of ecosystem.
Biodiversity is the source of the essential goods and ecological services that constitute
the sources of life. Carrying capacity is important to realize when talking the sustainability of
resources. For instance, the agricultural product in a community is not enough there is a ratio of
1: 2( 1 product for 2 person) and there is a population expulsion and become 1:4 as the ratio.
Hence, there is a scarcity in the resources that the capacity of the ecosystem cannot provide
enough for the humans. It is therefore necessary to account the appropriate ways to sustainable
development.
Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) is the term used for an organism created
through genetic engineering. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines as an organism
either plant, animal or microorganism in which the genetic material (DNA) has been altered in a
way that does not occur naturally by mating or natural recombination. The development of
GMOs was perceived to help in the advancement of technology for the benefit of humans in
different industries like agriculture and medicine.

Information age began around the 1970s and is still going on today. It is also known as the
computer age, Digital Age, or New Media Age. This era brought about a time period in which people cold
also access information and knowledge easily. The timeline (Figure 1) for information age can also be
searched and is available at https://historyoftechnologyif.weebly.com/information-age.html

Task 1
1. Read the history on the emergence of the information Age.(1 5 mins)
2. Make a timeline graph and present it on the class(15 mins). Below your timeline graph will be
conceptualize into two: horizontal line serves as the zero (0) year and the vertical line
corresponds to the years in which information age has evolved.
( timeline graph)
3. Partition the color of information age. Follow the patterned colors below. Make uniform size
measurements of the metacards and attach to the manila paper as your timeline graph.

The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act is to ensure citizens are informed, very essential
to a functional democratic society. Before it’s passed into a law, this draft bill is a result of a
consultative process conducted by an administration study group after careful study of
similar legislation in order to balance the government’s legitimate needs for secrecy with
the public’s right to know. This was the integral element of the Aquino Good Governance
and Anti-Corruption Plan of 2012-2016. This plan lays out reforms and initiatives that
pursue greater transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in governance. FOI
data is available at.https://www.foi.gov.ph/
