 1. State my purpose:

In this advanced era, expectations for businesses and their employees have reached
unprecedented levels. For this reason, I have chosen RMIT as my companion on the journey to
acquiring knowledge, skills, and experiences. In addition to being experts in imparting
knowledge to students, RMIT also offers a vibrant international environment and excellent
facilities.
From the diverse range of programs provided by RMIT, my choice is the BP343 program -
Bachelor of Business, allowing me to gain a profound understanding of the ever-evolving
business landscape. I am confident that my three years of college at RMIT will equip me with the
knowledge and skills needed to thrive as a business professional.

 2. Understand your strengths and leadership style:
a. Top strengths:

My leadership style and character strengths have been clarified by taking the Canvas Leadership
Style Test and the VIA Character Strengths Survey.
My top three identified strengths are Hope, Kindness, and Teamwork, these qualities display
empathy, optimism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others. Thanks to Kindness
quality, I can gain trust and empathy from others, this helps me a lot in working as a group
member or as a friend. However, this sometimes causes me trouble since some individuals
around me exploit this quality and seek assistance. Furthermore, I am capable of contributing to
a group as a member and being loyal to my team. Finally, I maintain an optimistic perspective in
the future and try my best to achieve my expectations.

 b. Leadership style:

I deeply value members’ own opinions and their learning processes, ensuring the workplace is
friendly and judgment-free, where everyone can express their perspectives and personality. My
goal is to motivate team members to take the initiative, encourage group projects, and experience
personal development. However, this strategic approach may encounter some challenges. Such
as the decision-making processes may encounter obstacles, potentially leading to delays. The
primary goal is still to achieve a delicate balance while utilizing the advantages of facilitative
leadership to develop an environment at work that honors different viewpoints, promotes
personal development, and supports team achievement.

 3. Global challenges
Businesses' operations in the age of global integration, particularly those of foreign corporations,
business ethics are commonly neglected. Unquestionably, business ethics are a vital and
complicated topic on the international scene. This complex subject includes a broad range of
topics, from social responsibility and environmental sustainability to ethical corporate practices
and transparency. It becomes difficult and sensitive to achieve a balance between the pursuit of
profit and commitment to values like respect for human rights, labor standards, and
environmental preservation. In international business, ethical issues are both strategically
necessary and morally required. It affects not only the company’s financial situation and
reputation but also the employees who are being influenced by these ethical decisions.
In the coming years, I want to join a hand in addressing this issue by stimulating creativity and
professional knowledge of myself and my team through a facilitative leadership style. To lessen
the negative impact on laborers and ensure sustainable development for enterprises, group
collaboration is essential.

4. Course journey
a. Major – Global Business
Above all, I have decided to pursue a Global Business major to address the aforementioned
issue. The program will equip me with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage ethical
challenges in the company’s operation. It also offers a comprehensive viewpoint on how
businesses operate, taking into account various marketplaces, economic systems, and cultural
norms, which is my interest.

b. Minor – Digital Marketing

By pursuing this degree, I will be able to learn loads of information about interacting with
customers online and using technology for advertising a business's products, services, and brand.
This expertise in digital marketing not only helps it to flourish on its own, but it also plays a
crucial role in the overall plan to solve global issues such as Business ethics. Additionally, I
believe this aspect will be a great fit for me since I value connections with people, which makes
it an ideal path to becoming a successful entrepreneur.

c. Other program
RMIT provides various programs that might allow me to enhance my personal growth and
experience, as well as assist me to become a better version of myself. I was personally impressed
the most by the Global Experience program, with that experience, I can step out of my comfort
zone and learn more about cultures and diversity. This is also an opportunity for me to learn
about new innovations in an international environment.

 5. Write a reflection
In progress to address global issues, especially the urgent problem related to business ethics, I
have chosen to pursue a degree in Global Business and Digital Marketing. My interest in
learning about various cultures aligned perfectly with the knowledge and skills that RMIT
provides me in the Global Business educational program, in which I’ve gained an in-depth
understanding of the business context and the capacity needed to calculate solutions. Digital
marketing might be a powerful tool when it comes to increasing public awareness and informing
the public about business ethics-related problems. These academic choices demonstrate my
dedication to having a global-scale effect in the battle against unethical practices.
After making this vision board, I’ve had some time to reflect on my personality qualities such as
strengths, and leadership style for further improvement. This assignment guided me in my
personal and professional development.

6. Create a collage
My goal in gaining a Business bachelor's degree is to pave the way for a rewarding career and
impact in the future. Beyond achieving personal achievement, my goals also include developing
and promoting practical approaches that have the ability to address global issues that are
important to me, such as business ethics. I hope that after I graduate from RMIT, I will have a
chance to work in an international and open working environment.
