I. OBJECTIVE:
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. identify the basic components of instructional planning;
b. explain the importance of each component of instructional planning; and
c. apply the components of instructional planning to create a lesson plan.
III. PROCEDURES:

Ask: What is instructional planning?
Valuing: It is the process of organizing the educational activities and the materials
to achieve specific learning objectives or goals. It has also a supportive
component that will assess your instructional planning namely deciding what to
teach, how to teach and communicating realistic expectations.
Ask: How these components contribute to have effective instructional planning?
Valuing: It helps the teacher to have a clear idea of how to plan for effective
instruction. Also, it’s a general outline of your teaching goals to support students
as they obtain knowledge and skills and to have an effective instructional
planning always ready yourself because failing to plan is planning to fail.
4. Application
Make a Strategy!
The teacher will flash a picture scenario. The students will evaluate on
what strategy they need to do to have an effective instructional planning.
IV. EVALUATION:
On a ½ sheet of paper, write on essay on how will the learners apply the
components of instructional planning. Answer only in one paragraph consisting of
3 sentences and a maximum of 5 sentences.
