    TEMA: “Magagandang Kaugaliang Pilipino: Isabuhay at Pagyamanin Tungo sa Matatag na
    Kinabukasan at Pagkamit ng mga Layunin ng Bawat Pilipino at ng Bansa,

    ACTIVITIES’ MECHANICS AND CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

    A. CHRISTMAS CARD MAKING CONTEST (DECEMBER 6, 2023)

    MECHANICS:

     Each grade level must have (2) representatives.


    - Grade 4 – 6 (ELEM)
    - Grade 7 – 12 (SECONDARY)
     Duration of the activity – 1-2 hours
     Materials needed;
    - Bond paper (A4)
    - Coloring and Art Materials
     The Christmas card must include a unique and creative design and a message
    address to whom the participants want to give the card.
     The Christmas card must be relevant to the theme and the culture and spirit of
    Paskong Pinoy.
     There will be (3) winners of the contest who will receive a Certificate of
    Recognition. (By category)

    CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

    Message/Content – 30%

    Originality and Creativity of Design - 30%

    Relevance to the Theme - 20%

    Impact and Presentation - 20%

    B. PAROL MAKING CONTEST


    (DECEMBER 12, 2023 – PRESENTATION OF ENTRIES)

    MECHANICS:

     Participants must have only (1) one entry.


    - Elementary Department
    - Grade 7
    - Grade 8
    - Grade 9
    - Grade 10
    - Grade 11
    - Grade 12
     Materials used can be hand-made, recycled, or indigenous materials.
     The Parol can be in any shape or form. Its size is no less than 2 feet (60 cm).
    Battery-operated lighting and movable decorations are allowed and optional.
     The Top 3 winners shall be selected and will receive a certificate of
    recognition and prizes.
     The Parol-Making Contest Presentation is on December 12, 2023.

    CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

    Originality (unique concept of Parol) – 30%

    Creativity (creative utilization of materials, earth-friendly) - 30%

    Craftmanship - 20%

    Impact and Presentation - 20%

    C. HIMIG PASKO, TINIG PASKO (SINGING COMPETITION)

    MECHANICS:

     Each grade level must have only (1) one representative.


    - Kindergarten – Grade 6 (ELEM)
    - Grade 7 – Grade 12 (SECONDARY)
     The participants must choose one Christmas Filipino/OPM song in any
    language.
     Background music to be used: minus one
     The participants can perform in any appropriate attire or costume.
     The participants must submit their minus one before the competition.
    (Deadline of submission: December 12, 2023)
     The performance time is limited to 3-5 minutes.
     The Top 3 winners shall be selected and will receive a certificate of
    recognition. (By category)

    CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

    Voice Quality – 40%

    Mastery - 30%

    Showmanship/Stage Presence - 15%

    Over-all Appeal - 15%

    D. KWENTONG PASKO: CHRISTMAS PRESENTATION (GROUP


    COMPETITION)
    (DECEMBER 14, 2023)

    MECHANICS:
    Republic of the Philippines

    STO NINO INTEGRATED SCHOOL
    Tanay, Rizal

     The number of participants is a minimum of 25 students per grade level.


    - Grade 1 – Grade 6 (ELEM)
    - Grade 7 – Grade 12 (SECONDARY)
     The performance must be a combination of song, dance, and acting related to
    the theme (Kwentong Pasko).
     The participants can perform in any appropriate attire or costume.
     The duration of the performance is 7-10 minutes only.
     Recorded music, a cappella, and musical instruments can be utilized.
     The Top 3 winners shall be selected and will receive a certificate of
    recognition. (By category)

    CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

    Relevance to the Theme – 30%

    Creativity and Originality - 20%

    Musicality - 20%

    Costume - 15%

    Over-all Appeal and Presentation - 15%
