Maintenance Instruction
Normally, configuration is done at the factory, and there is no need for re-configuration on site. You
need to re-configure in the following cases:
1 A button is added
2 The F2KMUL board is replaced with a button or switch at the same time
3 The factory configuration must be changed for some other reason.
The basic configuration of one COP using the configuration switch is divided into four tasks and
described in the following pages.
4. Load the ID numbers from F2KMUL board to the buttons and switches
The configuration begins by connecting the configuration switch and resetting the F2KMUL board.
After that, the side and deck information of the DOB button is loaded permanently into the DOB. When
the DOB configuration is complete, the ID numbers of other buttons and switches are configured. The
last step is to load the ID numbers from the F2KMUL board to the buttons and switches.

The Door Open Button (DOB) is used for configuring the F2KMUL board configuration table. The DOB
ID number is always same (113) and it is permanently programmed in the button. In the step two the
DOB button side and deck information are configured as following.
This section describes configurations for the ID numbers of the buttons and keys into the F2KMUL

The elevator with two entrances can have one COP or two COPs in the car. Therefore different
versions of F2KMUL are needed (G01 and G02).
In case of both communication lines (A-side, plug J6 and B-side, plug J8) are used in the F2KMUL
board, then both configurations must be done separately in plug J6.
The B-side must be configured first.
1. Connect the switch and reset the B-side configuration table (F2KMUL)
