Activities Planned:
List the components needed for our project. Prepare a final list of components with all the
necessary details like quantity and specifications. Determine potential suppliers for
components. Procuring components.
Activities Executed:
Our guide Mrs. Vaisali Rajeshirke explained the details of capstone project execution. We
discussed about our required components with our guide. We team members made a list of
components with quantity and specifications required for our project.
I searched our components in nearby vendors and online websites. Choose the best quality and
affordable components required for our project. We bought the components.
Each one of the team member searched components in their known shops and one of them
bought the components which is required and affordable.

Activities planned:
Component Testing should be done in this week. Output voltages of components should be
checked and verified with the specifications of the components. Show the verified output
voltages table to the guide and continue the further developments of the project.
Activities Executed:
Before using the component directly into our project, we decided to test the components in
our college lab so that there won’t be any complications further. We went to lab and gathered
required instruments to test our components.
I made an output table in which I mentioned the original specifications / voltages of the
components and real output voltages of the components of what we bought. After that we
verified and found that there is no trouble in our components.
After all that testing is done, we further continued to designing the circuit of our project.
DOP: DOS:
Activities planned:
We have to prepare a circuit diagram suitable to our project. Assemble the components
based on the circuit diagram on breadboard . Test the output and check whether it is perfect
for our project or not. Show the output to our guide for verification and continue the further
process.
Activities executed:
In the 3rd week we started making the circuit diagram. I took the help from google and
YouTube for pin configuration of components like Arduino Nano, GSM and GPS. We
constructed a circuit diagram approved that from our guide.
We started connecting the components as per the circuit diagram it was little bit
complicated. We checked the output and showed it to the guide.
So, in this week we did the circuit designing and assembling the components on the
breadboard.
Constructing the circuit diagram was a bit complicated as we had to create it from start.
Took the help from online resources for understanding the pin configuration and tried to make
it faster.

Activities planned:
In this week we have to prepare a PCB prototype of our project. After designing the circuit
on the PCB, we have to finally check the output and show it to the guide.
Activities executed:
In this week I have to design the PCB for our circuit and placing all components in it. As
we prepared the circuit diagram for breadboard testing, we used that circuit diagram and started
designing the PCB. As we already did the circuit testing on breadboard there was no
complications as we understood the connections of the circuit.
We properly connected all the components with wires and soldered it perfectly so that it
won’t be damaged further. After soldering the components, I got the final circuit of our project.
I checked the output and verified it from the guide.

Activities planned :
In this week we planned to do the programming part. We planned to do the onboard testing
after inserting the code in the Arduino Nano.
Activities Executed :
As we planned, we started entering the code in Arduino Nano. We faced various errors.
With the help of our guide and online tutorials we successfully entered our code in our
Arduino. We have to do the final testing and troubleshooting of the project.
I tried various codes from different online platforms and with the help of our guide we
successfully entered our code without any error.
DOP: DOS:
Activities planned:
In this week we planned to do the final troubleshooting as hardware and software both are
ready.
Activities executed:
As we planned, we started to run our project. Already both hardware and software were
ready without any errors. So, as I started there was an issue in the GSM model. It was not able
to fetch the signal .
So we bought PCB antenna . Due to this signal was able to fetch properly. GPS was also
working properly. And buzzer was also making sound due to detection of obstacle. Everything
was running smoothly.
GSM was not able to fetch signal . So, we have to find the solution which took some time.
I bought PCB antenna then the GSM was able to work properly.

Activities planned:
In this week we planned to do the final cabinet making which will give a complete look
for our smart blind stick. As smart blind stick should be light weight so we planned to make
it more compact and user friendly.
Activities executed:
Trouble shooting was done with no errors. So final cabinet making was planned in this week.
I started searching for things which make our stick light weight and compact.
So, we used PVC pipe and selfie stick for light weight. We used plastic boxes for the main
circuit so that no damage will occur even though we move the stick simultaneously.
I used small boxes for placing the sensors at tip and top side of the stick. We attached all this
boxes strongly so that it would be stable. So finally, our blind stick was ready.

Activities planned:
As our blind stick was completely ready, we planned to start the documentation of our
project report.
Activities executed:
Every part of our project hardware, software, cabinet making and trouble shooting was
finished we started making documentation. In the final year project black book report plays an
important role. In this report every detail should be mentioned. The hardware components we
used, the code we inserted and the proposed methodology all should be mentioned in that report.
We divided the chapters among our 4 team members and started collecting information
based on our project. Adding all the information collected by team members and properly
arranging it in the given format took some time and hard work.
After all the proper documentation, we did proof reading part before showing it to the guide.
After proof reading we showed our report to the guide. Mam told some changes to make. After
changing as told by guide we completed our final report and submitted to the guide.
Some delay was there as there were many changes in our report.
I changed our report as per the requirement of our guide , approved it and submitted it to the
guide.
