Work Experience:
St. Philip School, San Francisco
1st Grade Teacher | August 2021-Present

At St. Philips, I teach a self-contained 1st grade class of 20-25 students, and serve as grade level leader for our
Kindergarten-2nd grade band. I integrate my background in Classical and Montessori education and my
Orton-Gilingham training to ensure that my classroom is differentiated to meet the needs and interests of every
student to help them shine. I integrate multi-sensory instruction into literacy instruction and encourage hands-on
learning in math. Creating a strong home-to-school connection by partnering with parents and building a strong
classroom community of students who are empowered with the skills to problem solve when they face challenges
is also a fundamental piece of my teaching.

students in grades one, two, and three in a 1:1 and small group setting. The program included phonics and spelling
