Directions for questions 1 & 2: A, B, C, D, E, F and G are sitting in a row. It is further known
that:
(i) B and E are sitting at the extremes and C is two places to the left of E.
Directions for questions 3 to 5: Seven persons Mavesh, Navesh, Rajneesh, Sumesh, Dinish,
Vineet and Ganeet are sitting in a row facing the same direction. Following facts are known
(i) Number of persons to the left of Vineet is the same as the number of persons to the
right of Rajneesh.
(ii) Ganeet is sitting exactly between Sumesh and Dinish.
(iii) Dinish is to the right of Rajneesh.
(iv) Vineet is second from extreme right.
(v) Dinish is two places away to the left of Navesh
4. If Mavesh is sitting to the immediate left of Dinish, then who is sitting to the immediate
right of Rajneesh?

Directions for questions 6 to 8: Six kids- Allen, Bobby, Christopher, Drake, Emy and Frayer
like different super heroes from among Spiderman, Wolverine, Hercules, Batman, Hulk and
Superman. Each of them is made to stand in a row facing the same direction. It is also known
that:
(i) There are three kids between the one who likes Batman and the one who likes
Wolverine.
(ii) Frayer likes Hercules and is standing next to the one who likes Superman but not next
to Emy.
(iii) The one who likes Hulk is standing at one extreme and is to the left of Allen.
(iv) Christopher is standing three places to the left of Emy while Bobby doesn’t like Hulk.
(v) Allen who likes Batman is standing next to the one who likes Superman.
Directions for questions 9 to 12: Nine persons- A through I, were sitting in three rows and
three columns, facing north, in which A, F, G, I and C sat along the diagonal positions.

1. F was sitting exactly at the centre of the middle row.

Directions for questions 13 to 16: Seven persons Indra, John, Krishna, Lokesh, Mohit, Neha
and Ojaswi sit in a row. Some are facing north and some are facing south. (When it is stated
that, two or more persons are facing the same direction it means either all of them are facing
either north or south. Two persons are facing different directions it means, if one of them faces
north, another one faces south and vice versa).
Neha is three places away from Lokesh and is second to the right of Mohit, who faces south.
Lokesh sits at an end. Mohit and Lokesh are not adjacent to each other and are facing different
directions. Indra is to the intermediate left of Neha. John is adjacent to neither Mohit nor Indra.
Krishna is second to the left of Indra. Indra and Neha face different directions. Ojaswi is to the
left of John and right of Krishna. Ojaswi faces north.

Directions for questions 17 to 20: Six boys – B1 to B6 and six girls – G1 to G6 are standing
in two rows facing towards each other. All the boys are in one row and all the girls are standing
in the other row. The following facts are known about them and are with respect to the
individuals talked about.
(i)Neither B1 nor B6 are at the right most end. Neither G1 nor G5 are at the left most
end.
(ii)B2 is at the left most end but not opposite to G6. G4 is not at the extreme end.
(iii)B4 is opposite to G2 who is to the immediate right of G1
(iv)G6 is to the right of G1. G4 is opposite to B5 who is to the left of B4
