    MUSIC GENRE PROJECT


    Directions: Teach a music genre to the class. Complete research outline, presentation,
    activity, assignment, and song analysis with the class.

    Select a music genre such as pop, hip hop, rap, country /10
    that we haven't covered in class yet.

    Complete research on your music genre using 3 different /40


    reliable sources (not Google or Wikipedia). Create an
    outline of your research. Make sure to cite your sources. Due: Wed 4/13

    Create a presentation using Google Slides, PowerPoint,


    and Prezi to present your research. The following must be /60
    included: title, historical background, define the genre,

    location, influences, sub-genres, 3 song examples/analysis.

    Choose 3 songs for listening journals, then decide on /15
