EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Bestie’s Cake Shop is a new, unique local cake business that will serve freshly
made specialized cake to the community of Polomolok. It is owned by Jasmine Kieth F.
Waje, Grezel M. Cababan, and Xyvhon A. Soliminiano , an Humanities and Social
Sciences (HUMSS) students of Polomolok National High School, that has experimental
yet mastered their cake recipe and has developed a delicious menu of homemade cake
to be served daily and also offer seasons/holidays flavors. Bestie’s Cake Shop will
serve the residents of Polomolok who work, attend school, or live in the area.

Polomolok is a diverse community that is made up of all income brackets,


families, working class, business professional, and students. Bestie’s Cake Shop is
located in an area that is within miles of local colleges, public market, school and
churches. The customers demographic will be made up of all segments living, working,
or attending school nearby.

Bestie’s Cake Shop will sell a variety of cake all crafted in unique flavors. All
flavors will be made using only fresh and all natural ingredients and milk. Because each
cake is made fresh every day, it will not include any chemicals or preservatives.

Our business name is “Bestie’s Cake Shop” because were friends and for a
reason that it can satisfy your cravings and hunger as well as it can touch your heart
with its sweet unusual taste. It is your daily dose of love for it is one of the simple
pleasures in life that never fails to bring a smile to the face of everyone who taste it.
Chapter I

This chapter contains the business description of the business objectives, vision,
mission, description of the product, and the location of the business.

Background of the Study

Bestie’s Cake Shop is a new, unique local cake business that will serve freshly
made specialized cake to the community of Polomolok. It is owned by Jasmine Kieth F.
Waje, Grezel M. Cababan, and Xyvhon A. Soliminiano , an Humanities and Social
Sciences (HUMSS) students of Polomolok National High School, that has experimental
yet mastered their cake recipe and has developed a delicious menu of homemade cake
to be served daily and also offer seasons/holidays flavors. Bestie’s Cake Shop will

Business Description

The Bestie’s cake will be registered under the name Bestie’s Cake Shop, and will
be owned by partner proprietor, Jasmine Kieth F. Waje, Grezel M. Cababan, and
Xyvhon A. Soliminiano, an HUMSS students. Bestie’s Cake Shop offers a broad range
of cakes, all from highly quality ingredients. Our shop caters to all of its customers by
providing each customers cake product made to suit the customers, down to the
smallest details.

Everyone can enjoy Bestie’s Cake at a budget friendly price. For our target
customers, the business will provide high quality products, safe services and a healthy
and friendly environment at affordable price. We guarantee that our company meets or
exceeds our customers’ expectations.
BUSINESS OBJECTIVES

Objectives, on the other hand, focus more on practical, day-in day-out metrics that
revolve around revenue, number of customers, and product-related metrics. Objectives
are specific procedures for achieving a goal. They are the steps that you need to take in
order to achieve your desired goals.

Product Description

Cake is a common snack that is widely consumed across the entire world. Cake
are the most common snacks and people loved them for their great last. Cake are
usually mixing from a flour dough, but other types of batters can also be used. Various
toppings and flavorings are used for different types, such as chocolate and red velvet
maple glazing. The common types of cakes are the chocolate cake and the filled
chocolate cake. The good news is that all of the said types of cakes are available in our
shop.

Our business start from just a simple idea to fell common yet popular food. Then an
idea of selling quality but affordable cake come up to our mind. Our cakes are made
with our secret recipe dough and not so sweet but delicious glaze. Bestie’s Cake Shop
offers different variants of glaze anyone can enjoy.

We call our business “Bestie’s Cake Shop” because we’re friends and for a reason that
it can satisfy your cravings and hunger as well as it can touch your heart with this sweet
unusual taste. It is your dose of love for it is one of the simple pleasures in life that
never fails to bring a simple to the face of everyone who taste it.

This part will discuss about marketing plan, it contains the target market, competitive
factors, product promotion scheme, channel of distribution, and SWOT analysis.

Marketing Plan

A marketing plan is a blueprint for launching new products, understanding the


intricacies of your market, growing your audience, and promoting your company to your
customers who want what you’re selling.

Target Market

People, regardless of different ages, ethnicity and income, are welcomed to


enjoy Bestie’s Cake Shop. However, three main groups, which include teenagers,
families with kids and working professionals, can be three target markets of Bestie’s
Cake Shop.

Competitive Factors

A competitive factors enables a company to perform better than its competitors. It


refers to factors allowing a company to produce services or goods better or for less
expense than the competition, which may generate more sales or higher profit
margins. Competitive factors cover how businesses who offer similar products or

The business will use flyers and Facebook messenger to promote the products.
Flyers are an important tool for advertisement and they are still used in this high-tech
era. They can never be old fashioned as they suit all kinds of businesses and help them
to achieve their advertisement goals in an effective way. And Facebook Messenger is
the perfect platform to implement conversational marketing, which is one of the most
effective ways to build customer relationships. Conversational marketing also increases
conversion rates and builds brand loyalty through an omnichannel experience. And it
allows sales and customer services reps to connect with consumers interested in a
brand.

Distribution channels are important to businesses as they allow for the smooth
delivery of goods or services to a customer. If a business does not source the best
collection of businesses for this purpose, it can lead to unhappy customers and an

In SWOT analysis of Bestie’s Cake Shop,, there are various aspects that can
affect the running of our business. In terms of product, price, time, workforce, and
competitors, there are a lots strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
appeared. Furthermore, the result of the SWOT analysis can give more positive
outcomes than the negative ones.

The list of product that we purchase and include as components in our product is
reasonable and low-cost, allowing us to stick to our budget we spent Php 600 on
supplies per day to produce 60 different kinds of cake at different prices. We sold it out
and gives the sales worth Php 3,900 we calculated our earning and deduction other
expenses that gives us the net income of Php 1,350.

Chapter III
This chapter shows the list of raw materials and production process.

Production Plan

Production planning is an important function that can boost profitability and


customer satisfaction as well as efficiency. It helps companies match output to demand,
optimize production processes and determine how to overcome production problems.

Raw Materials/Ingredients

 10 fudge bars
 1 pack of nestle cream
 ½ can condensed milk
 3 packs Cream-O cookies (crushed)

Cooking Process

Step 1: Cover your pan aluminum foil for easy unmolding.

Step 2: Whip the cream until it doubled its size, then add condensed milk. Mix it well.

Step 3: Chill for at least an hour before assembling cake. Slice each other bars into half
(horizontal or pahiga).

3 Assembly: First layer, spread your pan with chilled whipped all purpose cream. Don’t forget
to reserve some og whipped cream for final finishing after unmolding.

Step 4: Second layer, place the sliced fudge bars. Pressed it and allow no spacing in between.

Step 5: Third layer, pour some of the chilled all purpose. Fourth layer, sprinkle crushed Cream-
O. And do the same for the fifth layer.

Step 6: Once done, chill it in the freezer for 2-4 hours and unmold fudge cake on an plate-
drizzle with chocolate syrup. Slice, serve and enjoy!

needs to be improved operationally in the upcoming year.

Furthermore, planning involves envisioning the results the organization want to


achieve and determining the steps necessary to arrive at the intended destination-
success whether that is measured in financial terms or goals that include being the
highest-rated organization in customers satisfaction.

Bestie’s Cake shop is owned by Jasmine Kieth F. Waje, Grezel M. Cababan,
and Xyvhon A. Soliminiano. The owner of this business has a big part in this business
and contributed to this idea. They are overall in charge in running the business. The
owner is the one selling the product and receiving the money, cooks and prepares the
product, and the person who transacts the supplies and buys the materials and
ingredients needed.

their mouth and soul. People, regardless of different ages, ethnicity and income, are
welcomed to enjoy Bestie’s Cake Shop.

Our cakes can satisfy your cravings, full your hungry stomach and feed your soul
with unusual taste. It’s a detectable combination of perfect consistency secrets recipe
dough and different kinds of flavors of glaze and topping. Bestie’s Cake Shop gives a
budget-friendly cost of products that anyone can afford

The objective of our business is to serve quality and fairly priced products, provide
excellent customers service, achieve customers’ satisfaction and loyalty, to render an
enlightening environment to enjoy food items, and to increase our sales and profit. Our
physical store provides comfortable, safe and enjoyable environment for our customers.
On the other hand, our online shop promotes safety ways of purchasing online and is
also enjoyable.
