necessary for this installation. These supply wires are power (black) and neutral (white), as shown in
the wiring diagram below. If you do not see both of these wires, consult a licensed electrician.
Check area above installation location to be sure that wiring can run to the planned location and that duct work
can be run and the area is sufficient for proper ventilation.
Inspect duct work and wiring before proceeding with installation.
Before installation, provide inspection and future maintenance access at a location that will not interfere with
installation work.
You may need the help of a second person to install this fan; one person on the attic side and one on the room side.
Installation may vary depending on how the previous bath fan was installed. Supplies necessary for the installation
of your bath fan are not all included; however, most are available at your local home improvement or hardware
store.

5. Place the fan housing (A) next to a ceiling joist. The fan housing (A) 5
should be level and perpendicular to the joist. Allow for thickness
of ceiling board used in your application.
Position the fan housing (A) so the bottom edge of the fan
housing (A) is flush with the ceiling board. Do not flush mount the

fan housing (A) to the bottom of the joist.

6. Attach the end of suspension bracket (C) and suspension 6
bracket (D) to the ceiling joist using wood screws (AA).

7. Insert suspension bracket (C) into the tabs on the duct side 7 C
of the fan housing (A). Insert suspension bracket (D) into the
tabs on the opposite side of the fan housing (A) and then slide
suspension bracket (E) into suspension bracket (D).
8. Position the fan housing (A) so the bottom edge of the fan 8 A

9. Remove the wiring box cover from the fan housing (A). Pull the 9
house wires through the hole in the wiring box cover. Using the
quick connectors, connect the house wiring to the wall switch Wiring box cover
(F) and fan housing (A). 14 AWG is the smallest conductor that A
should be used for branch circuit wiring. Please refer to the
wiring diagram on page 5 to ensure proper wire connections are
made. Carefully push the wire connections into the wiring box
and reattach the wiring box cover.
NOTE: Do not use metal wall plate with the wall switch (F), as it
may cause interference with the fan operation.

10. Connect a 4 in. circular duct to the fan housing (A), securing 10
it with duct tape or a clamp. Vent the duct to the outside.
11. Join the connectors for the BLUETOOTH® speaker and LED 11
light from the fan housing (A) to the grille (B). After pushing
the two gray connectors firmly together, twist the plastic nut
to secure the connection. Repeat the same step for the small
black connectors. The grille (B) must be connected BEFORE

PAIRING LIGHT SWITCH WITH FAN
This is a one-time pairing to be done after turning on the power source.
1. Turn switch to ON. The white LED light on the fan should be on.
2. Cycle the switch ON & OFF multiple times, pausing one second between each cycle, until the LED night
light on the fan is flashing.
3. While the LED night light is flashing, press LIGHT.
4. The LED night light will stop flashing and appear as solid blue. The switch is now paired with fan and all four
setting buttons on the switch should now be functional. NOTE: If the LED night light stops flashing and the
white LED light is on the pairing was unsuccessful, repeat steps 2-4.
Any combination of settings can be achieved by individually pressing each setting button, except LED light and
night light. For example, pressing LIGHT and FAN will turn on the exhaust fan and LED light. Pressing LIGHT
and MUSIC will turn on LED light and Bluetooth speaker.
To cycle through the blue and amber night light colors, press the night light button repeatedly.
NOTE: Should you ever lose pairing between the switch and fan, repeat steps 2-4.
If installing multiple units or you are having an issue pairing the switch to the fan:
A. Make sure all toggle switches are in the OFF position.
B. Cycle the first switch ON and OFF multiple times, pausing one second between each cycle, until the LED night
light on the fan is flashing.
C. While the LED night light is flashing, press MUSIC. The LED night light will stop flashing. Follow steps 1 - 4 above.
D. If connecting another unit, turn the fan off and repeat steps A-C for any remaining fans.
CAUTION: Before attempting to clean the fixture, disconnect the power to the fixture by turning
the breaker off or removing the fuse from the fuse box.

EMPAREJAR EL INTERRUPTOR DE LA LUZ CON EL VENTILADOR
Este es un emparejamiento único por hacer después de encender la fuente de alimentación.
1. Encienda el interruptor. La luz LED blanco en el ventilador debe estar encendido.
2. Enciende y apaga el interruptor varias veces (una pausa un segundo entre cada ciclo) hasta que el LED luz
de la luz nocturna LED en el ventilador está parpadeando.
3. Mientras la luz nocturna LED parpadea, presione LIGHT.
4. La luz nocturna LED dejará de parpadear y aparecerá azul sólido. El interruptor está sincronizado con el
ventilador y los cuatro botones de ajuste en el interruptor de ahora debe ser funcional. NOTA: Si la luz
nocturna LED deja de parpadear y la luz LED blanca está encendida, el emparejamiento no tuvo éxito;
Repita los pasos 2 a 4.
Cualquier combinación de ajustes se puede lograr presionando individualmente cada botón de ajuste, con
excepción de luz LED y luz nocturna. Por ejemplo: presionar LUZ y VENTILADOR se encienda el ventilador y
la luz LED. Presionar LUZ y MÚSICA se encenderá la luz LED y el altavoz Bluetooth®.
Para alternar entre los colores de luz nocturna azul y ámbar, presione el botón de luz nocturna varias veces.
NOTA: si alguna vez perdiese el emparejamiento entre el interruptor y el ventilador, repita los pasos 2-4.
Si instala varias unidades o tiene problemas para emparejar el interruptor con el ventilador:
A. Asegúrese de que todos los interruptores están en la posición OFF.
B. E nciende y apaga el primer interruptor varias veces (una pausa un segundo entre cada ciclo) hasta que
la luz nocturna LED del ventilador está parpadeando.
C. Mientras que la luz nocturna LED parpadea, presione MUSIC. La luz nocturna LED deja de parpadear (esto va a
preparar su ventilador para reiniciar el proceso de emparejamiento).
D. Una vez que el emparejamiento es satisfactorio, el emparejamiento se ha completado. Si tiene otro unidad,
apaga el ventilador y repita los pasos A-C para cualquier ventiladores restantes.
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
PRECAUCIÓN: Antes de limpiar el aparato, desconecte el suministro electrico hacia este apagando el
cortacircuitos o extrayendo el fusible de la caja de fusibles.
• Consulte informacion sobre seguridad antes de proceder. Se debe hacer mantenimiento de rutina al menos una
vez al ano.
• Nunca use solventes, diluyentes o productos quimicos fuertes para limpiar el ventilador.
• No permita que entre agua al motor.
• No sumerja las piezas de metal en agua.
• No sumerja las piezas de plástico en agua a más de 140 ° F.
• No sumerja el altavoz BLUETOOTH® en agua.
