Hours Pre-requisite: Should have taken at least 4 specialization subjects

Course Description: Work immersion is one of the course requirements for


graduation, some senior high school student has to undergo Work Immersion in an
industry that directly relates to the students’ postsecondary goal. Through Work
Immersion, the students are exposed to and become familiar with work-related
environment related to their field of specialization to enhance their competence.
Specifically, the students are able to: (i) gain relevant and practical industrial skills
under the guidance of industry experts and workers; (ii) appreciate the importance
and application of the principles and theories taught in school; (iii) enhance their
technical knowledge and skills; (iv) enrich their skills in communications and human
relations; (v)develop good working habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for
work. These prepare them to meet the needs and challenges of employment or
higher education after graduation.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Learner


In this course, the learners are expected to:
1. Attend Pre and Post Immersion Activities;
2. Report to the Work Immersion Partner Institution Supervisor during actual
immersion;
3. Perform the duties and tasks as indicated in the prescribed template for work
immersion list of
tasks/activities; and
4. Prepare the documentations and reports required in the curriculum and by the
Partner Institution.

Assessment

The Work Immersion Teacher and the Work Immersion Partner Institution
Supervisor will jointly assess the learner’s performance following the DepEd Order
No. 8, s. 2015 Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for the K to 12 Basic
Education Program.
DAY 1

 On April 15, we were assigned to the supply office. We were given the
task to write about equipment monitoring and the consolidation of all
report coming from lower units.
DAY 2

 On April 16 at 7:30 AM, PNP was


doing something they called
“formation”. As a work immersion
students, we were asked to
participate. Afterwards, we were
brought to the front and introduced
to all PNP employees, so that they
would not be surprised or wonder
why there were students in the
PNP.

 Chief Usman called us to help carry


and bring some items for their “Bantay
Kaisipan Program”. And we
organized/tidied up the other
fabrics/textiles.

 We used that fabrics to cover the tables.


DAY 3

 April 17 ma’am Motolani called us


to help re-arrange their venue for
the second day of their Bantay
Kaisipan Program.

 We were in the admin office because


we had papers or files that we need to
organize.
DAY 4

 On April 18, we organized the


papers again in the admin’s office.

 At this moment, we switched with my partner so that he


could do the encoding. He said that before we were
assigned to different offices, he did not know how to
encode and use PowerPoint so I was given the opportunity
for him to try it so he could also gain experience.
DAY 5

 On April 19, we were assigned to the PCR office or PICADU. I swept the
floor, and even cleaned the windows to remove the dust.
DAY 6

 On April 22, they had a program


called “First 100 Days
Accomplishment Report”. On that
day. We serves as an audience of
their program

 we went to the PCR or PICADU office,


and the boys were asked to help carry
their belongings, like computer desk.

 We females and with the boys carried


their other belongings like paper,
computers etc. And we also helped carry
the tables.
DAY 7

 On April 23, Chief Usman asked us


to help again to collect the cloths
they used to their program.

 We helped to carried the computers


and the other belongings of Human
Rights because they are moving in the
other office.
DAY 8

 At this moment, we switched with my partner so that he could do the


encoding. He said that before we were assigned to different offices, he did

opportunity for him to try it so he could also gain experience.
DAY 9

 On April 25, we did general cleaning in the office of


PCR or PICADU. The boys mapped the floor, while
we girls swept during that time, there were visitors to
the PCR office and some of them are OJT students.
There was also a guy who interviewed us about the
courses that we want to take.

DAY 10

 April 26, we were given certificates of completion for completing our 80hours
work immersion. But since we were waiting for our teachers we stayed in the
lobby and that day, Sir Gilberto B. Tuzon arrived and we had a photo session.

 When our teachers arrived it’s time for given us the certificate of
completion for 80hours of our work immersion .
