Intro:

Good morning everybody. Today the topic of my talk is one of the skills to be had in business, which
is negotiation.

So my talk will be in three parts.


The first part about what is business negotiation
Then the second part is about how important is negotiation in business
Finally is about the right way of negotiation

After my talk there’ll be time for ask of questions.

business negotiation

Business negotiation is a process in which two or more parties come together to reach an
agreement. It is a common part of business. The goal of business negotiation is to reach an
agreement that is mutually beneficial to all parties involved. This can be a challenging task, as each
party will have its own interests and goals. However, by following some basic negotiation principles,
you can increase your chances of success.

Now I want to tell about how important is negotiation in business

Negotiation is important in business because it can help you to achieve your goals. By negotiating
effectively, you can:

 Get a better deal for yourself


 Build relationships with other businesses
 Avoid conflict

Here are some specific examples of how negotiation can be used in business:

 A salesperson negotiates with a customer to close a sale.


 Two companies negotiate a partnership to enter a new market.

In each of these cases, negotiation is essential to achieving a successful outcome. By developing


strong negotiation skills, you can give yourself a competitive advantage in business.
That completes for the second part. So now we come to the last part which is the right way of
negotiation

Here are some tips for successful business negotiation:

 Do your research. Before you begin negotiating, take the time to learn as much as you can
about the other party, their interests, and their goals. This will help you to position yourself
for success.
 Be prepared to walk away. It is important to be willing to walk away from a negotiation if
you cannot reach an agreement that is fair to you. This will show the other party that you
are serious about your position.
 Be flexible. Be willing to compromise on some issues in order to reach an agreement.
However, be careful not to compromise too much, as this could hurt your interests.
 Be professional. Remember that business negotiation is a professional setting. Be respectful
of the other party, even if you disagree with them.
