key questions, teaching strategies, learning activities, and assessment of lesson

9. Integrates information and communications technology into instruction. 4
When it comes to planning and preparing for lessons, I would rate myself highly because I made efficient
use of my time. First, I thoroughly read through the lesson material to ensure I understood it well. Then,
I thought about how best to teach the content and which methods would work effectively with my
students. I carefully designed activities and assessments that would suit their needs and abilities.
Throughout this process, I put myself in their shoes to ensure I was connecting with them on their level.
Since the school was not like other school, such as not using colorful color papers, screen and etc., it is
a bit difficult to plan the activities, but I try my best to match the lesson and activities to work out for
students to learn effectively.

Comments:
When it comes to teaching, my approach prioritized building relationships with my students right from
the start. I made sure to communicate with them in a way that they could easily understand and relate
to, which helped create a comfortable atmosphere. Before diving into the lesson, I always took the time
to review and introduce the material, ensuring that everyone was on the same page. Sometimes, I
assessed their prior knowledge through group discussions or one-on-one interactions. Considering that
they were kindergarten students, I carefully selected activities that were suitable for their age and level
of understanding, and I remained flexible throughout the lesson. If I noticed any shifts in their mood or
attention, I promptly adjusted my teaching methods to keep them engaged. Additionally, I constantly
checked in with them by asking questions and having discussions about the lesson content. Personally,
I found that praising and encouraging students played a crucial role in fostering positive outcomes for
each individual.
12. Modifies and adapts teaching based on assessment date (e.g. employs alternative- 4

13. Analyzes and evaluates measurement data to assess student learning. 5
Comments:
During my internship, I grew more confident in my ability to lead and manage a classroom. The
homeroom teacher entrusted me with full authority over the classroom, which boosted my confidence
in handling student behavior. With this responsibility, I was able to put into practice the effective
teaching strategies I had learned in school. However, I encountered challenges in managing students
with varying levels of abilities and struggled to communicate effectively due to language barriers.
Despite these difficulties, I remained committed to maintaining systematic records of student progress
and providing weekly reports to the homeroom teacher. Although I wasn't able to directly
communicate with the parents of the students, I ensured that the teacher was kept informed about their
children's achievements and challenges.

background, or linguistic background.
17. Treats students with dignity and respect and is considerate of their circumstances. 5

the student.

20. Does not criticize the professional competence or professional reputation of teachers of 5
other student teachers unless the criticism is communicated in confidence to proper
officials after first informing the individual concerned of the criticism.

Comments:
I believe it's essential to maintain our professionalism and fulfill our responsibilities regardless of the
students' backgrounds or the school environment. Throughout my internship, I made sure to always
act professionally, whether in the classroom or in other situations. I also made a conscious effort to
understand and respect the cultural backgrounds and personalities of those around me, allowing me
to be flexible and adapt accordingly. The teachers at AIU have taught me that it's really important to
keep a good reputation as a teacher, and I've taken that advice to heart. I've made sure to use it well
during my internship. Because of that, I'm happy to say I've had good results in how I communicate,
get along with others, develop professionally, and behave ethically.
SUMMARY:
Even though I may complete my internship, it doesn't mean I will be done with learning and improving
right here. Becoming a fully qualified teacher means I still have a lot to learn more and obtain many
skills to develop. Personally, I know myself that I need to focus on improving my self-confident,
creativity, self-evaluation, time management, and critical thinking skills. These skills are important
for handling any challenges I might face as a teacher and for providing the best instruction to my
students that I will be teaching in the future.
I really enjoy giving compliments and positive feedback to people, including students, when they do
well because I believe one positive word can encourages them to keep improving. Moreover, I am
open to being flexible and getting along with everyone to build better relationships, and I'm always
ready to help anyone who needs it.
