Minor Project (BBA-114)
During the second semester, each student shall undertake a project to be pursued by
him/her under the supervision of an Internal Supervisor to be appointed by the
Director/Principal. The project should preferably be based on secondary data. The
project title and the supervisor will be approved by the Director/Principle of the
Institution. It shall be evaluated by an External Examiner to be appointed.

Guidelines for Minor Project

(For the students of BBA- II Semester)


▪ Consult your project guide regularly.
▪ Whenever necessary, carry out the changes suggested by your guide and then proceed for next
step.
▪ Do take signatures of your project guide as required on your progress report sheet.
▪ Work regularly with commitment and ensure that Project Report Activity Completion Schedule is
strictly followed to avoid any last minute’s hustle.
▪ For any query contact your respective Mentor/ Class Co-coordinators

report by including all salient points for enabling a management reader to get a complete

picture of the full report.

Chapter-3 Research Methodology


The Methodology adopted in conducting the study must be fully explained. The scientific
reader would like to know in detail about such thing. How was the study carried out?
3.1 Objectives of the Study
It should be pragmatic and consistent with the title of the study and achievable during the course
of study within the prescribed schedule. Students are advised to develop the objectives in
consultation with their respective guides. The objectives must start with action-oriented verbs. A
sample of objectives is given below as an example:

(a) To study the growth of sales of Cadbury chocolates.

(b) To understand the marketing strategies of Amul.

3.2 Methodology

4.1 Conclusion should be based on the work done. It is a summarized form of your interpretation

4.3 Limitations: The limitations could be mentioned in terms of data insufficiency, time &
expertise constraints, etc.

• Chapter and Section format
Each chapter should begin on a fresh page. Chapter number and title of the Chapter,
subheading of the chapter should be printed at the center of the Page

• Sections and Sub-sections


A chapter can be divided into Sections, Sub-sections and Sub-Sub-sections so as to
present different concepts separately. Sections and sub-sections can be numbered using
decimal points, e.g., 2.2 for the second Section in Chapter 2 and 2.3.4 for the fourth Sub-
section in third section of Chapter 2. Chapters, Sections and Sub-Sections should be
included in the Contents with page numbers flushed to the right. Further subsections need
not be numbered or included in the contents.

• Table/Figure Format
▪ Table and figures should be numbered chapter wise. For example, the fourth figure
in Chapter 5 should bear the number Figure 5.4 or Fig.5.4.
▪ Table number and title should be placed above the table. Reference for Table and
Figures reproduced from elsewhere should be cited in the last and separate line in
the table and figure caption, e.g. (after McGregor [12]). (Source of Table)
• Binding
The project should be hard cover bound in leather or rexin with the following colour
specification:
▪ Colour Black
▪ Lettering All lettering should be embossed in gold.
▪ Blank sheets i n addition to the white sheets (binding requirement) two white
sheets should be put at the beginning and end of the Project.
• List of Figures and Tables
Two separate lists of Figure caption and Table titles along with their numbers and
corresponding page numbers against them shall follow the Contents.
