Job Responsibilities:

 Perform safe and productive operations and maintenance activities. Stop and report any unsafe work acts.
 Execute equipment maintenance activities as assigned by supervisor (may include PMs, checklists, daily
readings, repairs, troubleshooting) and reducing machinery downtime to minimum.
 Coordinating in Preventive maintenance, Running / Corrective, Break down, Shutdown and Annual

Rotating Equipments:

Centrifugal pump & Axial Flow Pump


 Worked in single and multi stage centrifugal pumps & Propeller/Axial Pumps.
 Overhauling and trouble shoot the multistage and single stage centrifugal pumps with proper procedure. Install
impeller and other components.
 Preventing pump gets cavitations.
 Taking the measurements of the pumps like rotor axial, radial float, shaft run out, stuffing box square ness and
wear ring clearance.
 Ability to find the problem and remedy in centrifugal pumps.

Reciprocating pump & Rotary Screw / Progressive Cavity Pump


 Repairing, overhauling and troubleshooting multi (Atlas Capco) and single stage reciprocating pumps & Screw
Pumps / Progressive Cavity Pumps.

 Installing suction and discharge valve, plunger and packing, measuring the rod run out clearance. In Screw
Pump, Installing Stator and Rotor Screw, Universal Joint, Packing, Drive Shaft, Coupling Shaft, Shaft Sleeve,
Bearing, etc.

Reciprocating and Rotary compressor


 Experienced in overhauling and repairing of reciprocating and rotary compressors.
 Involved in taking reading of web deflection, piston clearance (TDC & BDC), piston ring clearance, connecting
rod big end and small end bearing clearance.
 Install crankshaft, gas packing, intermediate gas packing and oil wiper packing.
 Keep pulsation dampener 40% to 70% working pressure of compressor to avoid from pulsation.
 Good knowledge of find any problem like cylinder or valve knocking.

Mechanical seals & Gland packing


 Worked mechanical seals like John Crane, Borg Warner and Cartridge seals.
 Experienced of seeking various problem of seal leak
 Repairing and installing various mechanical seals. Discover and trouble shoots the leak and any other problem
of seals.
 Taking and set the measurement of seal compression setting.
 Good knowledge of discover the problems in seals.

Steam Turbine
 Experienced in working in Siemens steam turbines.
 Worked in steam turbines maintenance and sort out the problems.
 Installing MSV, trip collar, rotor, nozzles, bearings, governor and carbon rings or labyrinth seals.
 Checking OST and LLO Trip, taking measurement of rotor float.
 Experienced of solving the problems and proper inspection if any abnormal noise from the turbine.

Alignment
 Experienced in various types of alignments of dial gauge and laser.
 Checking soft foot and get the clearance below the tolerance of prime mover.
 Aligned by using straight edge or thread.
 Able to find any misalign by unnecessary noise and vibrations.

Diesel engine & Bio Gas Engine


 Worked in CAT, Hyundai and Cummins AVK engines.
 Overhauling and repairing diesel engines.
 Checking engine oil, radiator coolant and fuel level maintaining. Proper checking of turbo chargers suction
filters.
 Monitoring exhaust smoke color to indentify if any problem.
 Changing the all filter if required otherwise Clean and fix and Change Engine Oil from the particular interval.
 DE, NDE Bearing Temperature check, apply grease, Fly wheel Check.
 Check spark plug, throttle Position and change throttle valve, Starter Motor, Engine Combustion Temperature in
biogas engine.
 Check Throttle position, Battery Charger, Battery.
 Check the actuator valves and PRVs, Check leak HT & LT Coolant, Water, Fuel Pipe lines and strainers.
 Check Engine misfire.

Bearings
 Checking lube oil properly to prevent from oil whirl or oil whip.
 Replacing bearing with procedure, checking bearing if it is fitted correct.
 Measuring sleeve bearing clearance and bearing crush by using plastic gauge.

 Centering rotor by installing thrust bearing as per the total float.

Fin fan coolers & cooling tower / Heat Exchangers


 Installing and measuring blade’s angle, tip track, bearing thrust allowance, belt alignment and tension of the
belt.
 Replacing the mist eliminator plates and proper inspection at the spray nozzle from choking.

Static Equipments:
 Experienced to work in fluid Transmission pipelines, valves, gear boxex, cranes and Heat Exchangers,
Pressure vessels, Boilers ( HRSG, WHRG).
 Experienced to work in separator and process distillation column, Scrubber, RO Pressure Vessels, MBR,
MBBR & Desalination, TSE & Wastewater Treatment Membranes and Filters, Storage Tanks

Heat exchangers
 Worked in plate and shell & tube heat exchangers.
 Removing scale formation or any salt on the corrugated plates by hot water.
 Discover if any leaks by leak test ( Hydro Test ) and replacing the tubes or plug the tubes.

Valves
 Worked in Block Valves, Flow Control (Throttle) Valves, Non-return Check Valves, Pressure Control
Valves, Valve Actuators.
 Knowledge about valve symbols.
 Disc Seat Worn or damaged, Seat lapping with grinding paste and Seat changed, leak from Gasket & Gland
Packing, Valve Stem, Bonnet Cover are attended and rectified.
 New Valve and actuator installed, Checked valve integrity, adjusting valve popup setting by loose or tighten the
nut above the valve.

Gear box
 Worked in step up gear boxes repairing and replacing.
 Experienced in measuring the gear backlash and working length.
 Change gear Oil.

Crane
 Involved in crane load test.
 Replacing rope and greasing, maintaining and monitoring hydraulic oil and gear oil level.

HSE Knowledge & awareness


 Good knowledge of awareness about H2S and CO2, Methane, CO, NOx, N2
 Knowledge of using extinguisher for various fires.
