    Introduction
    The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will conduct Bihar
    MBBS/BDS admission on the basis of NEET scores. Admission to Bihar MBBS will commence
    with the release of the application form. Only the eligible candidates can fill the Bihar MBBS and
    BDS application forms. The registration will be done online on the official website. The admission
    to MBBS and BDS seats will be done by BCECEB, Bihar on the basis of NEET scores under
    85% state quota and private colleges.

    The remaining 15% seats from all government medical and dental colleges will be reserved for
    All India Quota (AIQ) shortlisted candidates, which will be conducted by BCECE based on NEET
    UG scores. On the grounds of the NEET exam and personal details filled in the admission form,
    the authority will prepare the merit list including the state merit rank, marks and percentile
    obtained by the candidate in NEET 2024. Eligible candidates will then be called for Bihar MBBS
    counselling process on the basis of their state merit rank. Before the starting of the process,
    candidates are required to fill their preferences of colleges and courses for Bihar MBBS
    admission.

    Medical UG One to One Counselling


    Application Form
    BCECEB will release the Bihar MBBS/BDS application form in online mode. Only the eligible
    candidates can apply for the admission process and must submit the form before the last date.
    During the online registration, candidates are required to register themselves by entering their
    email ID and mobile number. The UGMAC registration ID will be sent to the registered number
    and email ID to log in for filling the application form. Candidates are required to pay the fee
    through offline mode using E-challan or in online mode through credit/debit cards or net banking.

    Thereafter, personal, academic, NEET roll number and score, communication and other basic

    Eligibility Criteria
    Candidates who wish to apply for MBBS and BDS admission into Bihar medical and dental
    colleges must read the following eligibility criteria set by the authority.

    passed the class 12 qualifying
    examination with 50% taken together in
    Educational Qualification Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

    Qualifying Exam exam by securing a cutoff percentile and
    scores, which can be checked below.

    Medical Criteria The candidate should be medically fit.

    Bihar medical/dental eligibility criteria
    Criteria for State Quota Seats:

    1) Candidates whose parent(s) are from Bihar state.


    2) Candidates whose parent(s) are registered refugees in Bihar state.
    3) Candidates whose parent(s) are from another state but are working for the Government of Bihar.
    4) Candidates whose parent(s) are working for the United Nations and posted in Bihar.
    5) Candidates whose parent(s) are working with Government of India or Public Sector Undertaking
    (PSU) and is posted in Bihar
    6) Candidates whose parent(s)are employees of Bihar before the reorganization, whose cadre has
    not been divided yet and whose post is still transferable in Bihar Jharkhand.

    Seats Reservation
    Candidates can check the reservation of seats in Bihar MBBS/BDS admissions below. The

    Medical UG One to One Counselling


    Merit List
    BCECEB will release the merit list with the names of the candidates who will qualify NEET and will
    register for Bihar MBBS/BDS admission. The inclusion of the candidates in the state merit list leads
    to participation in the counselling process. In order to download the merit rank, candidates are
    required to enter their UCMAC ID and date of birth as filled in the application form.

    To be included in the merit list, it is mandatory for candidates to appear and qualify in the NEET
    entrance exam. The state merit list will be prepared on the grounds of the marks obtained in the
    medical entrance exam. Bihar NEET merit list shows the row-wise, UGMAC ID of the registered
    NEET applicants as well as the date and time of the counselling process. The candidates added in
    the state merit list will be asked to report at the counselling venue for the allotment of seats.

    Medical UG One to One Counselling


    Counselling
    The counselling process of Bihar MBBS/BDS admissions will be conducted in the online mode. The
    authority conducts counselling in two rounds. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible to
    appear for the counselling process. During the counselling process, aspirants need to login
    themselves using the required credentials.
    After logging in, they need to fill their choices of colleges as well as courses, in which they wish to
    take admission. Aspirants can fill as many choices as they can. On the basis of choices filled, Bihar
    NEET rank, seats available, reservation criteria and other details, the admission will be granted.
    Candidates who will be allotted a seat must report at the designated colleges for completion of the
    admission process. They must visit the colleges as per the specified date and time. Aspirants need to
    carry the required documents for verification purposes.

    Round wise rules


    METHOD OF SELECTION AND ADMISSION for MBBS / BDS Counselling
    1) Merit list of all the qualified candidate
    2) There will be four (4) round of Counselling - Round-1, Round-2, Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy
    Round.
    3) Round-1 and Round-2 will be Online and the Mop-up round will be conducted offline, requiring
    fresh online registration and submission of the application form.

    COUNSELLING PROCESS
    Round1
    If seat is allotted
    a) Do document verification and join the allotted college
    b) Option for upgradation
    c) Free exit

    Round 2
    1) Candidates will be eligible-
    Who took a free exit and opted for upgradation
    Did not do choice filling for Round1
    Seat allotted got cancelled for Round1 in document verification
    Not allotted any seat in Round1
    2)Fresh choice filling is to be done
    3)If upgraded do verification and join the seat
    4)If not upgraded in Round2 cannot resign the seat and have to continue with prior allotted seat
    5)After joining in Round2 cannot participate in any further Round

    Round3
    Fresh Registration from Candidates who have not been allotted any college of India.
    Candidates who have registered before or not reported to the allotted college or whose security
    amount has been forfeited or has resigned from Round2 have to fill Fresh Choices.

    Medical UG One to One Counselling


    Stray Round
    1. Will be conducted online.
    2. The candidates who fall under below mentioned conditions are not eligible to participate in
    Stray Vacancy Round Counselling of UGMAC-2024 based on NEET(UG)-2024:
    Admitted to MBBS/BDS seat through UGMAC-2024 Round 1 / Round 2 Counselling.
    Admitted through AIQ on the basis of NEET(UG)-2024 Round 1 / Round 2 Counselling.
    Admitted through NEET(UG)-2024 Round 1 / Round 2 / Round-3 / Stray Vacancy Round
    Counselling conducted by Other States.
    Allotted on MBBS/BDS seat through UGMAC-2024 Round 3 Counselling.
    Allotted through AIQ on the basis of NEET(UG)-2024 Round 3 / Stray Vacancy Round
    Counselling.
    The candidates who will be allotted in Stray Vacancy Round will be treated as admitted. If a
    candidate does not take admission on an allotted seat of Stray Vacancy Round, their Security
    Deposit Amount will be forfeited and the allotted data will be shared with MCC as per MCC
    updated rules. Such candidates will not be eligible to participate in any further round of
    Counselling.
    If any candidate duly submits fresh Online Application form by providing wrong information,
    their Security Deposit amount paid for participating in Stray Vacancy Round Counselling will be
    forfeited and will become not eligible for Stray Vacancy Round Counselling as Data will be
    scrutinized before preparation / publication of Merit List.
