Do you want to be at the forefront that will bring the next big
breakthrough in research on platforms to support teaching with
immersive environments?
At INESC TEC, an innovative approach called e-Sim is being
developed, which provides teachers with resources to monitor students’
activities through a dashboard. The current prototype was developed in
PowerBI.
It also develops the Inven!RA software architecture, which allows to
collect analytics from multiple differentiated activities, congregating
them against transversal objectives. The current prototype implements
it with a frontend in node.js and a backend of Web microservices in
Contexto Moleculer. There is also a Discord bot for automation of data
geral da collection from student teams on this platform and a service for data

The aim is to adapt the current e-Sim dashboard and bots to the
Inven!RA architecture, thus enabling the monitoring of students’
activities with analytics traverse not only in Moodle, but also git
repositories (e.g.: GitHub) and various collaboration platforms (e.g.:
Discord/Slack/Teams) or even in 3D virtual environments (e.g.:
FrameVR).
This proposal is part of an active and enthusiastic research team, which
has several projects underway, integrating young and experienced
researchers in various countries and continents.

Objetivos e Create a Web front-end supported by the Inven!RA architecture (which
resultados enables the specification and collection of analytics of the diversified

available in a format suitable for the PowerBI dashboard or,
alternatively, in a Web analytics solution integrated in the front-end.
Create “Activity Provider” modules for the backend, for the various
activities of the e-Sim approach, that allow the collection of analytics
from the Discord, Slack, Teams and Moodle forums platforms,
adapting the prototypes already developed or creating new ones.
There are virtually no approaches to systematically harvest student
team collaboration data from Discord and similar platforms, and
associate them with learning objectives, to support teacher decision-
