Day 1 of Work immersion

In my first day of work, I was so nervous but at the same time excited
because finally I was able to experience being in the office. Me and Joshua
were assigned to MTO or the Municipal treasurer office, the first thing that
we do is we were tasked to cut some Raffle tax ticket into pieces in that
morning, same thing in the afternoon we continue to cut the tickets. All and
all at exactly 3pm we finished to cut the tickets, after that the employees
were having their snacks and the head of the office invite us to take some
food to eat, after a while we ask permission to go out because its already
4:30pm.
Second day of our work as we entered in the office, the first thing we did
was to say Good morning to all the employees in that particular place, as
we sit down, one of the employees there called me to arrange some books
and paper while Joshua is cutting some tickets and after I finished it I
immediately assist Joshua in his work, after we finished all the task, we ask
permission if we can go out to have some rest and they agreed. In the
afternoon we do the same thing such as to greet the employees a Good
afternoon. That time the office is not too busy so we ask permission if we
can use cellphone and they agreed. After a while, they bought some foods
to eat and when the food arrived they invite us to take some snacks, we
enjoy eating together in the office, after that we say thank you and ask
permission to go out.
Same work, different day. We entered the office with excitement to make
our day productive, in that day we are tasked to clean the cabinets, tables
and old books and also to help and assist Sir Toto, we removed all the used
papers, dust, cobwebs and we gather all the important books into other
section, we arranged the papers in their proper place. After we finished all
the work, we immediately take some rest, We ask permission to go out for
lunch. Me and my workmates ate together at home, we immediately back
at the office by exactly 1pm to continue our work, that time we managed to
cut again some raffle ticket. There’s nothing much work that afternoon so
we ask permission to go out after that because the weather is not good
that time.
Day 4 of our work immersion, as the day goes by we gradually got to know
each other’s name, that day the head of the office assigned us in the certification
management. At first, I wasn’t able to learn how to make the certificate, I
managed to ask questions first before I wrote down because I’m afraid that I
might make a mistake. Every time that there’s a customer, I always greet and ask
them “what can I help you ma’am/sir?”
Day 5 of our work immersion that day, the head of the office announce that it
is half day of work, we immediately do all the task that morning so that we can go
home early.
I was absent that day. I got fever and I wasn’t able to report in the office.
On the 7th day of our work immersion, our co-employee at the office
wondered why we didn’t come to the office for a few days, we explain that our
school doesn’t allow us to report/duty in our prescriptive offices for the reason
that the Pikit is having a shooting incident. We must stay at home that day and
follow the guidelines of the school.
On the 8th day of our Work immersion, same thing we do in our previous
work. We managed to check some receipt and papers, later that day we ask
permission to go out in the afternoon.
On the 9th day of our work, there’s nothing much work that day because the
other employees are having their practice for their dance competition. We just
cleaned the office so that we could do something else in that particular day.
Last day of our work, in that day we said to our co-employees that this is our
last day in work immersion, we ask the head of the office if we could have his
ratings base on our performance, after he checked and rate us he put 500 pesos
together with the DTR, we say thank you to Sir Ariel and to other employees in
that office before leaving in the office.
